Rust :(

I am at 3 weeks on my third little test plant. I have a good set up and good RO water in my basement now. My first 2 plants got burned with high PPM but I did not have a fungus/rust problem with them. Now this plant has rust. I applied Neem oil spray and adjusted my temp and humidity, Nutes , pH and PPM are good but now what? If the problem persists is this plant screwed? so sad...help please.

yeah rust is because the RO
it is calcium deficiency

you need to get reverse osmosis/soft water nutrients

some add calmag over regular nutrient formulas to provide the cal but i don't like it

water change with improved nutrients, RO water used , pH 5.8 to 6.3, temp 69.
did not have spots on upper leaves for past 2 days but now showed up everywhere. No powdery rust or spores under leaves. Any ideas again?

I am using GH floranova series cal/mag, micro, grow and bloom and rapid start per the feedchart. logistically all my waters, nutes and parameters should be good. I dont get it!

floranova soft water ? or hard ?
[/QUOTE
]is there such a thing? i have been searching for both to check what I have and it only pulls up the same hard or soft. im thinking i mixed for 3 gallons instead of 3 3/4 gallons....maybe she just ate up all the calcium? should I up the cal mag for the next water change since it is RO water from the well?

it contains 7% calcium. use the same grow and bloom bottle as usual

personnaly i never liked calmag (cal/mag nitrate). it do not buffer the water properly

i always stick to soft water formulas with RO water
no need to use calmag with these

if you want to use calmag take your RO, add calmag until your read 0.4mS, then add your nutrients

no wonder, different brand, was GH at one point. I cannot seem to successfully search it, does it ship to US. or maybe GH only in USA.

i remember floranova i used this shit with success in coco, its thick and contains some salt crystalized
but it was with hard water

personnaly for RO water (100% demineralized water) i use dutch pro coco/hydro RO/SO

ro/so for reverse osmosis/soft water

OK. I do have RO on my well water. before mix PPM 24, After mixed PPM is about 2000ish. pH is good. possibly not mixing enough?
