Thought I might as well do a journal for my medical grow, maybe I could get some helpful feedback from everyone. I've had a couple nice grows in coco and perlite but thought I would try my hand at a hydro grow. I'm growing out some clones now to find some mom's. Currently working with 4 Jilly Bean and a Headband. These are in the 250w 2x2 veg tent in coco. I plan on keeping a mom or 2 in 3gal pots and a humidity dome for cuttings in the veg tent. Then from there move to my 3x3 ebb & flow tables in pots w/ hydroton (hydrocorn rather since i couldn't get the real stuff) in 6x4 tent with 2 600's. Got the GH trio of nutes, calmag+, superthrive, etc... Anyway here are some pics more to follow.IMAG0459.jpgIMAG0460.jpgIMAG0462.jpg

Plans changed yesterday for the better. My buddy had too many clones and in turn was killing off some prospective mothers. So I ended up going home with 6 bushes all in coco, all of which have been topped at least 9 times. I couldn't have even vegged them that big in my little 2x2. Looks like they drank up about 5 gal of water last night. Fed every 4 hours(11min flood/15min drain) starting just before lights on and just before lights out at about 4-5" height. My dude said they would take full strength nutes but I wanted to ease them in and went with 3/4 from the GH feeding schedule. Pics to come after lights on.
Day 1 flower:
Nutes:
Tap water 170ppm
220ml Floragro
220ml Florabloom
220ml Floramicro
160ml Calmag+
ph'd to 5.8
Total ppm 1000

Last night I trimmed about half a 5gal bucket worth of leaves out of the inner of these plants. Looks like they had been let go for a week or 2 but now they are nice and open ready for lots of airflow. I'm going to have to add an aquarium heater to the res as my temps are around 59F after lights on and I'm worrying about shocking the plants with the cold res water. Also I changed the flood cycle to just before lights on, 5 hours later, then an hour before lights out. It seemed like they might be getting a little overwatered. Anyone have any advice on adding h202 to the res? Could i just buy a bottle from the pharmacy and add like that or do I need horticulture grade? How do I take better pics under hps?IMAG0469.jpgIMAG0470.jpg
