What are other S.I.P.S. enthusiasts doing for their integrated pest management?

I'd like to hear organic and chemical methods. Just say organic or chemical at the beging of your post.

Also specify what country you are in as different rules govern availability of certain products.

Let's make this thread for sips growers as it is a method of growing with its own challenges and benefits.

I.e. letting the soil dry on top to prevent fungus gnats. It is extremely difficult when growing sips with the cover cap on top

I use the following for my IPM

U.K. Based.

H2o2 from eBay as high % as possible that you can obtain as you use less when needed. Warning kills beneficial bacteria in the substrate.

Spinosad - eBay/amazon import organic bacteria

Hot shots no pest strips - eBay - warning contain dichlorvos and is carcinogenic with long exposure. Half life is short after exposure. Used to spot treat should anything be found. Kills by vapour - chemical.

Neemazal drench and neemazal spray. Spray of potassium salts. Propolis extract, aloe gel and aspirin spray. Also general cleanliness. Never bringing outside plants and taking shoes off in the house helps a lot. Go japanese.
