folks, i have figured out how to stop the brown slime in its tracks with very minimal root surgery. after a day of searching, reading, calling every possible person u can think of..hehe my lady is going to love this phone bill lol.
its called flora shield, the label says to flush for an hour or so, a rep at general hydro says to let it run for 8 hours in dwc, 1 ounce of flora shield per gal of h20. i used a 5 gal bucket with 3 gals of h20. 2 gallons were at room temp and 1 gal was cold from the fridge..brought the temp down to 60. i ran it for almost 9 hours, pulled the baskets out and the roots were WHITE! then redid my nutes and now almost a day later no slime temps is at
69 with a frozen bottle of water. i hope this can help ill post pics later when the light comes on. please feel free to ask ?s
