S&P silent fan Speed controller

Hi
I am considering buy the SandP silent fan 125 mm.
The flow rate on the fan is 350 m3/h and I only have a 3 by 3 and need to run the fan at around 200m3/h so I'm going to try and use a speed controller to bring it
down to this. But Ive heard it doesnt work with all speed controllers and also some controllers make the fan rattle .
I was just wondering what controllers should work with this?

The whole point of getting this fan is to be very silent so if the fan will make any rattling due to the controller theres no much point in getting it.

That'll buzz/hum maybe not terribly but it will make noise, if you want silent operating a voltage controller is what you want /need (aka a variac) £50 will buy you a 2 amp.

just went with an AC infinity which has the inbuilt speed setting thing.
