S/wwc? (White/Shallow Water Culture)

i was thinking of using a 10 gal low profile rubber maid bin with air pump and air stones inside/stacked above a deeper one probably 30 gal. with a pump pumping solition to the top chamber working like a ebb n flow but constant flow. i thought of this when looking at my root system, my 2 plants roots merged to one big hair ball. but the cool thing is, is that it holds a large amount of air inbetween. so i was thinking if i can max out the top bin with roots i may be able to hold more air in that chamber within the roots being fed direct air due to being maxed out, this may also keep temps down in the root area. think of it as growing in white water. what you guys think?

why do you need the bigger res too? Stick a water pump in the 10 gallon with either an air pump feeding it or a passive air intake on it and thats all you will need. No need for a bigger res and air stones (little ones could use the air stone but a big enough water pump will get rid of the need for the mature plants). Thats basically my system.
