First outdoor grow with about 3 weeks left started getting munched on. 4 Cannalope Haze 1 LSD and 1 Cotton Candy. Heres a bud shot of one of the Cannalope Haze and the Cotton Candy.20170922_143031.jpg 20170917_093440.jpg I had them on a cycle of neem/azamax/spinosad during veg and first 2 weeks of flower and they were immaculate.

Out of six plants each has a few leaves with either mite damage, aphid damage, or purple caterpillar poop. Id say 1-2% of each plant. I want to act quickly to keep them at bay till harvest.

Any safe insecticides avail while late into flower? Dont want to effect taste.

Don't have any pics of the damage but Im 100% its a little of mites, aphid nymphs, and some caterpillar poop.

I'll post some more photos of the grow tomorrow.

You could order a bunch of lady bugs and they will take care of any aphids. Dipel (BT) is safe to use for caterpillars...its better then smoking buds tainted with fungus caused by caterpillar poop.
If the problem is really minor just pluck the affected leaves and and yellowing/dead ones....clean up nearby vegetation and also check it for infestation as well, could be a host plant nearby that is attracting them to your garden

I just went through this with half my crop, but ended up losing it for different reasons. At some point all that build up of pesticide is going to have an effect somehow regardless of how organic or safe it is. I came the conclusion about week 4 of flower that it was lady bugs or bust. It's simply not worth you or someone else inhaling something that could have an adverse effect. Just my 2 cents.

The only safe pesticide that I can think of is a mild soap/water solution. I used liquid ivory dishwashing soap and water for the very short time that I had problems with insects. Did the job and was rinsed off with the next rain. Then I caught a couple of praying mantis and let them go in my garden.
