Sage N Sour DWC LED

Another Newbie
lots of great reading on this site, thought I would add a little.

Seeds were Attitude freebies... TH seeds Sour 'n' Sage feminized

Germinated in rockwool broke through surface after 7days.

Week 1 seedling was healthy. Rooted through rockwool, grew 1st set of singles. fed with tap water at PH 5.8. LED set 6" above 18/6

week 2 growing stopped. I believe it was due to a few things like over watering, lack of oxygen and PH kept rising in 7s

week 3 moved to 8" net pots with clay balls (tap root was long enough to carefully wriggle through bottom of net). added bubble and 3rd strength nutes. and plant took off again . nutes are CYCO 2 part grow.

week 4 sourced water from running creek fed nutes at 2/3 strength. moved to larger container. raised light to 11 inches above. they seem very happy starting to have there own smell.

since they have been in the net pots i have been changing the water level every few days. So that level is 20mm below pot and at 10mm up from bottom of pot.

roots have taken off but are they meant to have a little brown tinge to them?

here are some pics with light off.

1 plant has 5 finger leafs and the other has 7 finger. Does this mean they are different strains? even though they were from a bank.

This is the led im using

searching for a second LED for grow. not sure if I should run the same colours or if im using any that arent need and could be changed

almost 5 weeks old they share a 50l container with allmost 40l of nutes at 70% strengths
the left one was topped a couple of days ago, thinking about topping the right aswell.
over the next couple of weeks will have to relocate at begin a scrog

outgrown the cupboard at 6 and a half weeks.
fresh nutes at 100% strength, 40L brings the level to 20mm up from bottom of pot.
I previously had the water level 10mm below pots but the top half of the clay balls were dry (I think I will use smaller net pots next time).

at 7 weeks I set up a training net, squares are close to 2 inch. I dont want to use the whole net as it is to big for my light source.

probably wasn't the best idea but I cut off a set of large fan leaves off 1 plant to let some more light to the lower branches.
hoping to have enough veg to turn in 2 weeks .

I should have the LED closer but I have to have it raised to cover the area. should have second light in a couple of weeks though

Can anyone recomend any additives to my nutes, am going to the grow shop this weekend was thinking maybe vitamin b as i think i read somewhere it help repair the plant after stressful training and pruning.

Aloe Vera is always a nice additive. A silica booster for stem strength would probably be right up your alley too.

started adding ryzotonic a few weeks before change, wish i had it from germination.

stopped adding ryzotonic to cyco nutes
began adding cyco swell
started using cyco swell as foliage spray once a week

i have been pulling the tops through the mesh from underneath and pushing them back through the next hole

I took a guess that the majority of stretch was finished an the canopy was fairly even, so i left it how it was.
I gave it a flush with ph5.8 water and let it go 24hrs before adding cyco goodness.

day 35 after switch.
I WAS WRONG ABOUT THE STRETCH. Probably should have spread it out a bit more, but my new lights haven't showed and this one is only made up of 120 1watt.
check out the amount of crystals already there.

2X apollo6 will be added next week
when i checked 8 days after 12/12 switch i could see the first hairs coming through.Is this what I should note as day one of flower?
thseeds say flower period is 60-65 days. how much longer do you think till these will be ready?
feedback would be great, would like to know how my first grow is going

WTF not sure what went wrong. nutes did get low a few times but didnt fully dry up, or could it be the new lights?

turns out problem was probably a combination of built up salts and manganese deficiency.
I have trimmed (should have trimmed a long time ago, heaps of small buds without light),
flushed for 24hrs and flushed again with molasses

How'd the buds turn out after cure?

Looks like a hot mess but its alright. Nice smokeable buds.

8oz and the buds were smashing
