sagging & rusty leaves (pics!)

yesterday there was a power outage, for about 8 hours, which interrupted the 24/0 cycle that I have some plants vegging on. they're under four t5's and haven't exhibited any serious problems until a few days ago when I noticed these. I didn't notice the leaves curling down until this morning when the power came back on. any tips on how to help these plants out?

If you mist your plants when the light is on you may get sunspots thats what that looks like me, get a fan blowing on them to help evaporate the water hope this helps.:joint:

hello im a beginner, i have a very basic hydroponic system and im using it for 1 plant at the moment in my closet. at the moment my plant is drooping an looking like it is dying, can anyone give me some help please. i dont exacli know what to do, the time cycle i am noit sure about as i got the plant half grown but not flowering, same with the watering but it seemed ok up until yesterday

I do mist with the lights on, but there is an oscillating fan blowing lightly onto the plants. Should I stop misting? The t5 lights are 24/0.

Misting is not a problem is helps with the humidity. You can continue to mist but make sure the leaves have a light dew apperance and not big water droplets on them, those get magnified and burn your leaves. Other than that you should be fine. And sorry about the typo I ment "thats what that looks like to me" lol.:joint:

spray the leaves like you normally may do and then gently tap the leaves to remove any big water droplets. you can repeat this process if you want the whole leaf to get misted but make sure no droplets are left behind. but to double check let your fan blow on the leaves untill they are dry.:joint:

I read about adding a drop of liquid soap or something to water to prevent it from beading up on leaves - anyone tried this?

ok.. The curling of the leaves if you google plant nitrogen deficiency take a look at images, you could swear thats whats happening to your plants.. and those nutes are they the hydroponic kind?

I try a few open containers of water in the room to increase humidity, this way you avoid spraying/burning your leaves. Quick question, after 8hrs of cold darkness is it normal for you plants to appear limp/droopy?

ok, since I posted this thread a new set of leaves has come up on the sagging plant. the new set of leaves look healthy but the lower part of the plant isn't look so great. the same as in the photo, basically. I've been watering every 3 days now, misting once a day and tapping the beads off.
