true i looked up how salvia grows wildly and it rearly makes seeds because it flowers only when it wants to. i grows buy its ability to clone very easy. for example if you riped a brach off and tossed it on the (dirt) ground it would start growing right there after it roots.

It is know as a cultigen... I.e. it only exists in cultivation. If someone offers you seed, it is fake, or non-viable.

Took me a while, but I have two little salvia cuttings now... But have access to lots of plain leaf through the guy I got it from... In fact i have more than I could use in a year I guess.

wow i did not know that... well i wouldn't mind keeping a little bit in my garden.bongsmilie
