Salvia grow

Well here is my issue, I am in school, living back on campus because I was kicked out of my apartment for noise complaints, I have a few ladies growing outdoors up in my home town that I am able to check on often enough to be comfortable with it (alas I still lost 4 to rippers, all is going well otherwise).

I digress, I have a baby salvia plant shes just a little fella right now, I want to keep it growing in my dorm room but am not very experienced with salvia plants, it is a "Blosser strain" and looks just like every other salvia plant I have seen, however I was hoping some of you expert green thumb guys could give me a few pointers ranging from growing, nutes, harvesting the leaves, extracting the salvinorum, any pointers you have, lighting etc.

I would also like to mention that I live in Maine so there is no need to hide the plant as it is still legal here, I actually would like to make a little cash off from this, living on campus I already make bank moving bud, a legal substance on top of that would just make things so much easier.

Curious what came of this, know it's an old thread and all. I have tried Salvia a few times, just bought it from a local cig shop, but it didn't seem worth the money. Wears off so fast, but if you can get good results growing it then it might be worth it.

I dont have the plants anymore, they grew pretty huge to be honest I just didnt want them in my backyard anymore so I gave them to a buddy, I guess they are still going strong I made some extract out of it because smoking just the leaves to me is kind of pointless. Worked out pretty well, it is a fairly easy plant to keep going once you have it growing, when I get my greenhouse in a few years I will be sure to bring back a salvia plant and document the grow for you guys.

Is it tough to make the extract?

I might have to research this more. They sell salvia seeds at home depot around here, but I am guessing there are certain types that work the best.

eh its not the same, get a clone from ebay or something you will be much better off. I picked up a baby Blosser strain for cheap on ebay, it grew huge after I moved out of the dorms and got my own place I had to move it to the back yard because it was taking up too much room in the corner of my living room.

I wouldn't bother making extracts personally, I've had the best results with leaves alone. If you made hash though I think that would be ideal, extracts taste so yucky!

I haven't tried any other Hallucinogen save for Salvia, but I like the fact that it only last a little bit. I feel it's more controlled. I have never really had an intense experience with it though.

Salvia is great like that it hits you lets you have your fun then it is gone, if you want a longer trip, just smoke some more.
