same strain .. different trychome quantity .. wtf?

Hi guys ! These two babies are 34 days into flowering ! Outdoor and I am getting them inside 2 hours before sunaet to complete 12hour circle of dark..
- I noticed that thc level is not the same on these two even if i been giving same amounts of nutes and watering ( and the one that has less trychomes has been cropped during early vegging stage )
- since they are 34 into flowering and seeing those pix, how long do you guys think they still gonna need ?

Might just be a phenotype difference that's all I can say hope that helps.. Put up some more pics of the two really can't tell from the few pics you have already..

Didnt you already ask a similar question about smell? Did you not read the information provided to you by other members about phenotypes?

Simply put, even if you have two seeds from the same strain they won't produce identical twins. Variation is to be expected, with some strains more than others (which depends on genotypes and phenotypes).

You can have one strain of seeds with multiple different looking/smelling/tasting/finishing aspects to the grow.

Look into researching phenotype variations.

And to answer all of your future threads:

~ yes, your 2 different plants may finish at different times!

~ No, they are not done yet, give it another week or two. Get a jewelers loop and check trichs.

~ yes, it is possible that each plant has a different yield (even though they are the same strain)

~ it happens, due to phenotype variation, your plants could have a different taste, high type and duration

umm i dont think it will be ready in a week at all, average flower time should be around 55-65 days of 12/12

You can not tell the THC levels in a plant by looking at it. You can not go by the amount of trics on a plant to tell how potent it is also.

i say about 60/40 on trics cloudy to amber for a heavy high, 50/50 of uplifiting/couchlock depending on strain and tolerence!!!
