samples for newbies

Okay so as doing some reorganizing around here and realized i have quite a few samples.Please before you read any further do not use this info if you can really afford to buy them out right or have no intentions on using them because i personally use everything and since i work a minimum wage job it really is helpful in seeing what works best for my situation for free or at the most shipping so heres a pic of some of the stuff i have and a rundown of where and who i got them from.

1st- and definitely the best deal.House and Garden sample kit, email house and garden they will send you a postcard that you must return with a $20 money order to pay shipping but trust me its so worth it since included are.Your choice of 1liter bottles either, soil/coco/hydro,-roots excelurator-budxl-amino treatment-muli zen-magic green-shooting powder-nitrogen boost-algen extract-top booster- and some drip clean.again an amazing sample pack!!!

2nd- from plant success i received both 1oz great white, and 1 oz jellyfish. no shipping fee

3rd- honestly dont remember where i got them but im sure if you google the products you ill find them.I like these products alot. included for no shipping ere 1bottle of dark energy, 1 bottle of supernova, 1 bottle of companion, and a small sample of super charger powder.

4th.Botanicare for a $16 shipping fee. Your choice of 4 separate bottles from about 95% of their product line in 8oz samples.a steal if you ask me.

5th- i received 1 free 3 gallon smart pot, no shipping.

6th- some rootbastic sent to my local hydro store, (if i didnt mention sending it to my store then assume it as sent directly to my house.)

7th-Growstones! the guy here was great sent me 2 nice size bags of growstones and they work great in my soil to aerate.no shipping

8th-neptunes harvest, a free 8oz bottle / no shipping

so thats just what i can think of at the moment and i have atleast 2 more places i have yet to order a sample pack from and maybe 1 or 2 on the way. I really wanted to try out the Mad Farmer pack but i ordered it and after 2 and a half months of nothing i had them refund my cash.So if anyone knows if they have the problem fixed that was holding up the samples please let me know as i would love to try out some n.u.t.s and moab.

Hiya dude, good of u to give details & freebies for sure. I was just wondering, when u got sample packs from company websites, were they advertised for purchase on site at time, or did u get them all through emailing direct & asking if they did it?? (aside from H&G where u say u clearly did!) Seems damn good idea certainly man & useful for small scale tent & closet grows where a sample packs worth would probably last 1 whole grow!

its a mix of both really.If i stumble upon a nutrient or product i havent heard of or just may be interested in i always first check their website and if there isnt a sample set up then i go to the contact page and send them an honest email with what im trying to do and let them know what im running whether it be soil/soiless dwc dro etc.

ok guys some more sample updates.
Contacted aurora as they have a $6 sample page to get an 8oz bottle of each buddah grow and bloom thing is i am running mostly coco now (still 2 soil plants) and the rep even stated they weren't authorized to send coco line samples at this time....well 3 days after i ordered it i checked my mail and to my surprise there were 2 bottles of soul synthetics grow and bloom, guess she was ok'd to send me the coco line after all.


also recieved emails that i have samples on the way from:

general hydroponics-contacted about wanting to try out there floro line and was actually treated very nicely, explained my situation and was told to check my mail in a few days and that they would cover shipping also!!

dyna grow- was told to choose 2 of their products and would be sent to me free of charge.

Peruvian gold organics- contacted and was told a sample line would be sent again no shipping.

ecological labs- sending a sample of microbe life i believe, no shipping

That's it for the meantime i will update with photos of what i received as they arrive.

nice thread man i wonder if this works in the uk as well, we dont really have bundle packs etc so i can see them telling me to do one, but ill ask!!

i don't see why it shouldn't as there should be uk distributors for most of these companies, and hey it never hurts to ask right.

Btw madfarmer personally wrote me to say that the problems with shipping their sample packs were fixed and shipping was arriving sooner than the suggested wait and for 12 dollars you get some MOAB, phup, phdown, rooting gel, NUTS, and some silica sheild.Ordering one this friday for sure.

New Sample Pack update-Microbe Life, so the company sent me a little sample kit free shipping of some foliar sprays and a couple other supplements, plus a root dip, i will defnitely try out the dip and foliar to see if i like it.

So just recieved my sample pack from general hydroponics. Only took about a week since i emailed and they shipped it free of charge, The Whole Flora Series Box plus some silica.Now i know lots of people told me gh no longer sends samples and don;t waste my time writing them but i guess if you get the right person they will take care of you.
All i did was simply tell her the truth, how i farm what i use and why i would like to sample their line.

maybe i worded that a little funny ghost when i said to try them for free well actually yeah i meant free but try being the focus, i buy great white now after receiving a sample and i will definitely be a buyer of botanicares cs17 line once my sample runs out.
Myself personally i am just a poor gardener who only does this because of the fact that i can't affor to partake otherwise, no cash cropping here so all my grows must be supported off aminimum wage job which as you know can be really expensive when most regular sizes of nutes start at 32oz and i just dont have a $100 to blow everytime i see something i am interested in.
Plus hell if your honest with the reps for these companies you'd be surprised because i basically told them what i am saying now that im poor and located over an hour from a legit garden store tht would normally have samples in which to try.
So to those of you who genuinely can't afford to try things as much as you may like this threadas for you, and to those of you who are copy pasting 100 emails well may all your plants turn herm and all your buds get rot.

i didnt mean to come off like an asshole, but a sample is there for a reason. i would love to try those mad gardener and the microbe samples.

i am definitely ordering a mad farmer pack today, 12 bucks you can't beat it and i have been wanting to see what the moab and nuts are all about.I really wish all companies would just do some sort of trial program like madfarmer,botanicare,roots etc.. that way by just adding the 10-15 dollars in shipping fees it will really weed out those of us who really will tryout the product and those who just want a shelf full of nutes they won't use.
I am sure the people who end up with ten sample packs to ten addresses would think twice if there was a minimal fee.Now that being said i am super appreciative to those companies that do go out of there way to promote their product in this way and it sucks that people make it more difficult by being wasteful, just human nature though, if i put an add up that says free bags of shit somebody won't be able to resist.
Anyways guys happy gardening and remember in the beginning it was all free!!!!!!!

I will let you know what i think of the microbe and if you get some please do the same ghost.Came in a week or less nice little measuring cup with each bottle, (can never have enough of those).
Right now i have about 20 clones just starting veg which i will be separating by strain and running 2 of each strain side by side in a dual trial of 2 nute lines-As of now i am thinking i will run the gh floro performance line on one half and soul synthetics on the other although i think i may pick up some trinity to go with my soul first.

Well received my Mad Farmer Sample pack for $12 only took about 4 days to get here and i must say i am impressed and even scored 200grams m.o.a.b. instead of just 100g.
Also included in the pack were 8oz getup(phup), 8oz getdown(phdown),8oz n.u.t.s. nutrient uptake solution(humic acids), 8oz silica sheild, .25 oz rootit clone gel (heard this stuff is bomb)

Couldn't get the pic attched but here it is guys and i recommend picking this up for $12 bucks i am looking forward to trying the nuts and the moab which is about $15 for 100grams normally and for less then that i just recieved 200grams plus all the other goodies

is madfarmer organic or synthetics?
