Sampling my bud

whats the right way to cure?
..... somthing about a jar...?

iv already dryed my little sample bud

i choped, trimed, and hung it in a dark dry closet 4 days ago and now it feels dry and it bounces back when i squeez it

smoke it man, its better than tossin d bitch.. en if it only gave u a small high, thats better than no high isnt it!!

when a plant is done it gives severall tell tale signs that its done, you cut it, hang it untill the stems snap with a crack when u break them.
then its dry.

to cure put dried buds in a jar and open the jar for an hour to 2hrs each day letting them air out and release moisture. sometimes i have water form on the inside of the jar in droplets, thats normal too so dont freak when u harvest and see any of this. and id say that plant is 2/3 of the way done by looking @ that bud.......

hey well i gotta know then , if i smoke this tiny bud ,will it get me high???. It has alot of pistils no real buddage.

cause if so i will pick it now and throw it in the microwave

cant tell much from your picture man but it looks very young/ early into flowering. I doubt it would do much for you, smoke like hay and get a bit of a head ache. I would probably hold off on sampling. How far into flower is it?

ye i wouldny smoke that just yet. the bud won't contain enough thc yet and thats what gets you high. wait for a few trichomes to appear before u even think of sampling imo, they contain concentrated amounts of thc as someone stated earlier. gl

hey mate, u know if u smoke the whole plant now, you wont ever get to see it all cured in jars and finished up. hell to me that itself is worth growing it............home grown taste splendid my friend.... i HOPE you make it that far...

When I sampled mine it had some trichs on it and some obvious bud. It didnt get me really ripped but I did get high. If you really want to sample wait till it gets some nice trichomes on the leaves near the bud. You know the stuff that looks all frosty on dank herb. Just be patient dude, its tough but it will be worth it.

Does anyone here know anything about harvesting the main kola and then letting the lower buds develop for a while? I am thinking about doing it to my plants when they are ready. Two of them have some really nice bud sites down low and I am using a cfl setup with side lighting but I am just wondering if I could noticeably increase yield by harvesting in two steps instead of all at once.

im not sure if youll really notice weight differences. i doubt it if the plant is actually "done" with swollen calyxes and whatnot.
but if the plant is getting done @ different speeds like lots of my outdoors do then its fine to cut parts of the plant that are done first.
Hell its a bitch to trim a bunch of outdoor plants all @ one time, and rushing gives you a shotty trim.
