does samsung list the chips they use on any of the F or H series? im looking for small cheap strips for cloners on shelves (like 12-18" long) and would like to get 561c if they designate them anywhere. QBs et al are too big for this application, i wanna run like 5-10W a few inches over clones

Both the F- and H-Series Gen3 have the LM561C on them (it's on one of the latter pages in the datasheet) and according to the samsung calculator they have to be somewhere between S5 and S6 bin.

The data sheets for both the H- and F-series (page 14) list the diodes used as LM561c . I can't find any information regarding binning of those diodes.

Edit: I see tomate was quicker on the draw.

If you use the Samsung calculator and run the numbers it comes out as the S6 diode. I think that is what I ran it at. But you can reverse engineer it on the calculator to figure it out with the data sheet numbers if I am wrong.

Im looking for the F-Series Strips to ship to europe, and found digikey to be the only supplier without taxes and with regular national shipping fees. they are listed at €14,10/1 , €13,80/10 . can any europeans confirm this is the best availabe offer at the moment?

The ones listed on Digikey are the US version and won't work on 220V - Actually the EU version is available nowhere.

120V/230 is not applicable . these don't run on AC power and will blow up. You need AC-DC Driver
Both US and EU version of strips use DC voltage. Check Vdc on datasheet

you still need a driver everywhere

i just ordered some f-series 5000k 4ft stripes from them, as they are the only one having them available i can say yes they are the cheapest atm ;)

Well.. what is the good answer? Can we use the US version in Europe? If yes.. how? Normally with a MW driver.. nothing change?

Of course you can use them also in Europe. All you need is a CC or CV driver like these popular MWs you mentioned.
My only concerns would be if they have CE marks on them and if it is not the case what would happen if a customs officer gets them.

they already did, ordered and shipped from the us on monday, arrived here in germany on wednesday. why can't all international orders be so uncomplicated and so fast? big ups to digikey, they got their shipping game right on
