San Diego Growing

Hey, Im moving from Alaska to San Diego in about 6 hours. Just wanting to know a few quick outdoor questions and im hoping the RIU community can help me out. So, as of right now, i think san diego has 12 hours and 49 minutes of sunlight or something and its going to be above 12 hours for at least another month but by the time i get settled in and get my seeds its going to be like around 12 hours or maybe even less. Should I just get an autoflower? or could i try to get a regular strain and gorw it indoors for a few weeks and just put it outdoors in the sun? Also, what strain would grow great? Autoflower and photoperiod please. Ive heard they get some rain during the "Winter" in San Diego but not enough for mold, its quite mild, 65-high 70s pretty much all "Winter" long. Im only down there to finish up my schooling so until june. So, could somebody help a brother out? Thanks

I live in SD county and it's been getting pretty cold sometimes with some light rain lately. I have 5 six week olds, a 3 week, and 5 2 week from seeds going right now. But during the winter I'd try to keep it indoors. The sun doesn't poke out until around 10 a.m since it's pretty overcast in the mornings. I'd probably go with an autoflower right now. I have some cheese you could try that. Some Blue Dream, Hindu Kush, Green Crack, Master Kush, God's Gift, White Widow. Those all seem to grow pretty good out here.
