SanibelGreen's 1st LED/Bubbletronics Grow

Well alright jumping head first into this grow which will hopefully come out successful from the learning and growing aspects. All I know until this point is thanks to this community, and without it this grow would not be possible.

So after reading and asking questions for months at a time I feel comfortable enough to take this on. I'll start with my bucket choice, Bubbletronics no brainer to me at least has everything I could want and more. Lighting wise I decided to go out on a edge and do LED's I know they seem to be frowned upon but I have faith. so I have 2 UFO's which a buddy of my let me buy them new since he changed his mind and wanted to go HPS. I also stumbled upon a entire cache of LED lights at my local hydro store which he gave me in return for info on the LED's and how they do growing, those lights we will see in the flowering phase since they are all red.

The room itself is a closet which is 6x2. I added Mylar 2 mil all the way around the closet, even on the inside of the slider doors for the closet itself. I have added numerous outlets and little accessories all over. So after I finally get everything together from Digital PH tester to chain link for hanging the lights I am thinking I am ready.

So I go into this grow feeling pretty confident in my LED's and Tubs, looking for any input into this, so be easy on me and enjoy.

I decided to use the code from my other forum post. I know it has their tags on it if this is a problem let me know i will redo them, just a lot easier to copy ad paste rather then upload another 13 pictures.

Well here it goes.

Had just gotten lights and hung them up. Still lots of work to do.

Setup as is now. You are asking yourself, "What is that plant?" Answer, a gift from a friend, four week old Blue Cheese clone which I am open to ideas about, I might just veg it with the others, and yes I know it will get big.

Side view from left side into the closet, reflector contains a nice all Blue LED light, that was in the goods my buddy from the hydro store gave me. I love my Mylar

View of some of the plugs, hygrometer,etc. If you are looking at the temp I understand, I am looking for cooling solvers, i will be getting another one of the fans tommorrow. We will see what happens

Water Ph for left tank was 6.0, right tank started with 5.9. Water temp is lovely also.

As for what is being grown...All feminized Snow White and Wonder Woman.

Seeds were germanited using the soak in cup method all popped promptly and were put in the cubes.

Also some other things. I will be using SH Nutes for this one and be using ONA Pro Linen Gel, stuff is amazing.

Seems to me that you have done your homework, is this your first ever grow, or the first one using LEDS? So far so good. I am curious about LEDS myself, can't wait to see how this turns out. Subscribed +rep

Nice set up I use a 90 watt UFO too. Check out my re-circulating bubbleponics grom. I'm 3 days into week 4 and loving the growth. The lights run so cool the temps are easy to maintain. Nice

Thanks guys. Yea first ever grow so ya I have read for months and months before even trying this. The are all sprouting currently and almost all have become visable some breaking out earlier then others which is normal. Temperature is idling at 72-75 I added another fan on the inside so there is a nice breeze on the inside. The Blue cheese clone is growing rapidly not in height as much as in the amount of foliage it is starting to grom. Pics will be soon when all breaking out.

The clone is doing well and is growing dense with layers of leaves on top already and shows some good signs already.

That's a great looking set up. I like to drop my UFO right down on top of the little guys. It's so cool in temp. and the plants just flourish. I'm talkin inches above the vegetation.

I dropped them down around 8 inches, just playing it safe for this first one, I know I could drop it that low but just being safe, results are lovely so far

Still deciding on whether or not to get the leds.

Day 5 of Veg. New light added. Sprouting has begun! Start nutes now or wait until day 7? And some odd coloring has started on the clone was fine last night now this discoloring that you will see in pics.

I've seen that your supposed to wait until the 2nd set of leaves are out...not counting the round seedling leaves (whatever they are called). Start with a low dose of nutes after that.

They're great lights. Check out my bubbleponics re-circulator thread. I also use a 90 Watt.

what made you choose led over hps or mh

Heat signature. + the ability to cost almost nothing in comparison to HPS on the monthly bill.

420 Tags because I dont feel like uploading another 40 pictures in another place, I said if this is a problem let me know i'll take down the post.

Led's are from a dealer I know on the east cost of FL, amazing lights amazing prices. Now have four of them and just went through some bad times with the weather and a outbreak of Mg defficiency. I'll keep you guys updated.
