I have never bred or did a seed run. i simply grow for personal smoke due to medical problems. I have discovered that after 10 grows under my belt, that herijuana is the perfect strain for me! I have 6 seeds left fro a 10 pack. Considering ordering more but not to excited about the new signing policy. It seems that Sannie is leaning toward not shipping to the US from what i read. I know its just opinion, but im trying to come up with a backup plan to keep this strain going. Im a closet micro grower with no room for 2 chambers before anyone mentions cloning. Ok here is my question; If I take the seeds i have and just do a no culling pollenating run, what can expect? Will there be mass variation of phenos? Will there be a lot of hermies? What do you call this generation of seeds? F1's, F2's. Just curious if its worth it

if they are truly IBL, then the next generation would be IBL, essentially that's the definition of an IBL
not familiar with the genetic heritage of this strain, but true IBL's seem to be rare from current breeders
not a criticism, just that most seeds seem to come from a carefully chosen mother and father that are propagated for seed production
my guess is that F2 is the more likely outcome, and the results may vary widely

Sannie is a real breeder. You will get similar offspring. Although I believe for a true run you would want more, but I think you will get the desired end result.

What I would do (and this is based on my grow situation) I would pop 6 seeds (staying under the feds) and hope for 3 males, 3 females.
Once sexed you can keep your males in a low light box and they will continue to grow without issues. Look for the female that most closely resembles the growth, leaf pattern of the heri you liked so much. Look for the male that has similar qualities in leaf/growth pattern. Then just pollenate one of the side branches, seriously you dont need much, you will get hundreds of seeds from one side branch.
If you are unsure of which male, you could always use multiple males. I will tie a red string around a branch and pollenate with male 1, blue around a seperate branch (other side) and pollenate with male 2. Just be really careful pollenating because it will spread all over easily. Qtip works better for me than a paint brush. Brush seems to pick up more and let more loose. Qtip you almost have to wipe it on the hairs and you have alot less overspill.

I have a Heri male I'm using for some chuckin'. Same as Althor I use a Q tip. I just hit my Black Widow with my Heri male.

This is not how you preserve genetics.

You want as many mothers and fathers as is reasonable up to X amount (more than 3 of each though, I think closer to 20 or 30 to ensure all the genetics are there).

Like stated above, as long as you keep it within the family then its still IBL. Your timing is excellent because Sannies has been sold out of Heri for a minute. Hopefully he reup soon so I can stock a pack for a breeding project I had in mind as well.

Been hearing about this herojuana non stop lately, and just by coincidence I'm getting a few clones of it tomorrow along with a few trainwrecks to add to my every increasing collection. Right now I have well over 20 different type mothers sitting under a single 8 light t5 fixture, its working great at keeping every one alive, yet deprived enough that thet are staying small and manageable. I'd say if you like the strain you should clone it and keep a mother around for as long as you want to grow it. Its really not difficult and dont listen to anyone who tells you the genetics get weaker or whatever over time, many plant ONLY reproduce by cloning (such as salvia) and they are just as viable as thousands of years ago. I have strains close to a decade old and I'm getting better bud and yeilds than ever.
