Some new pictures of Stinky Girl - day 54 of 12/12;

DSCN0370.jpgDSCN0377.jpgDSCN0379.jpgDSCN0382.jpgDSCN0385.jpgDSCN0387.jpgDSCN0390.jpgDSCN0391.jpgDSCN0392.jpgDSCN0395.jpg

She really does stink. Proper cheese skunk with just a hint of caramel like sweetness. Really lovely shaped foxtail flowers. She has a fair few cloudy trichs now, but still mainly clear - no amber at all. I think she will take about another 2 weeks, meaning a week 10 harvest.

Stinky's Sister looks to be ripening the fastest, 30% cloudy trichs on her (but still no amber). I guess she will be ready in about a week, meaning a week 9 harvest. I'm gonna take her then whatever the trichs are like. Will post some more pics of her soon.

Tall Hazey lady has just started fattening up her flowers. Taking on a lovely shape. Gonna still be a while for her though, at least another 3 weeks,meaning a harvest in week 11/12 - although I'm prepared for her to keep fox-tailing and maybe go 12/13 weeks. We shall see.

Yeah, she's got some seriously fat and heavy buds already - and the fox-tailing makes me think they still have weight to gain. This pheno looks heavier yielding than the Kolossus with a very similar flowering time. I took the lower branches off for testers, from both Stinky Girl and Stinky's Sister and the leaf trim blew my head off. Heavy head stone, with dreamy uplifting elements for the first 30 mins then heavy couch lock after - lasts a solid 2 hours. The trichs on the testers are between 10-30% cloudy with rest being clear - so there is still potency to develop too. This is some serious weed!

Hazey Lady day 56 of 12/12;

DSCN0398.jpgDSCN0400.jpgDSCN0402.jpgDSCN0404.jpgDSCN0405.jpgDSCN0406.jpgDSCN0410.jpgDSCN0411.jpg

Fattening up has just started, along with the beginning of fox-tailing. The nitrogen sensitivity have been a challenge with her, and can be seen within the yellowing. Many of the fan leaves have been sacrificed due to this; no necrosis or anything though. I gave her a feed today with NO biobizz 'grow' (which is the veg nutes). I did however give her a pretty high dose of biobizz 'bloom' and a full dose of 'Bloom Cal/Mag' and some biobizz 'AlgAMix' - I hope this will enable her to exploit what nitrogen remains (I have not flushed her, just slowly reduced the nitrogen I gave her). At 8 weeks of 12/12 I think she has a minimum of 3 weeks left to go, so hopefully another 10 days before full yellowing then 10 days of ripening.

She is easily the most sativa dominant of the three flowering Sugar Punch - and although I want to achieve the highest strength I can, I also want to emphasise her sativa effects by harvesting her at about 75% Cloudy 25% clear (I won't complain about a few amber). I want some super speedy trippy sat dom with no cbd. I understand the other two phenos will have strength akin to old skool ak-47, and knock out couch lock potential to match (the early samples testify to this) - so will hopefully end up with the best of both effects.

I have my suspicions that the vegging sugar punch that girl that I LST'd and experienced leaf problems with is the same pheno as this, even though the leaves look a little wider in the veg girl. She stretches with her new tips and looks just ready to reach like crazy when I flower her. I trimmed her of the rest of the problem leaves today, and tied her new tops down. You can see pics of her in the background of the veg area pics. She will be the first of the long veg sugar punch to be flowered when the first of the currently flowering girls is cropped next week.

Couple of pics of the vegging area. Two Sugar Punch girls LST'd multiple times, 12 week veg. One Kolossus, now also LST'd, she's about 4 weeks old.

DSCN0414.jpgDSCN0417.jpg

The first pics shows the girl I believe to be a sat dom pheno, in the back of the area, furthest from the camera. The girl closet the camera is the big bushy one that I think will be the same pheno as Stinky Girl - she certainly stinks the same in veg. I will be flowering the big bushy one second, in about 2 weeks (14 week veg) - she will be huge yielding by that point (multiple huge colas if Stinky Girl's untrained 4 week veg examples are anything to go by) . The Kolossus is sandwiched between, and will be flowered when Tall Hazey Lady is finished (if there enough room in the tent by that point lol).

A Kolossus (fem) from Sannies that I introduced to being tied down.

DSCN0426.jpgDSCN0429.jpg

These are such vigorous plants even when not trained. Keen to see what a multi top trained Kolossus girl will produce. Hoping for the skunky/cheesy pheno (had her once in the 15 or so Kolossus I've grown), but the lemon haze phenos (2 different in my experience, both same flower time) are fine.

My experience with the Sugar Punch fems in this grow makes me think that the Hybrid Sugar Punch phenos (the girls named 'Stink Girl' and 'Stinky's Sister' in this grow) are actually more viable as heavy yield commercial strains than the Kolossus (Sannie sells the Kolossus on his website as his big yield/commercial strain). Not saying the Kolossus doesn't do what it says it does - it is heavy yielding, manageable (in height etc), tasty, strong and consistent. But the Sugar Punch looks like it's going to be A++ in taste, strength and yield - with a flower time between 9 and 10 weeks (the same as Kolossus).

Some pictures of Stinky's Sister - the taller of the two hybrid phenos. This is day 57 of 12/12. She was watered with no feed, plain water only (25 litres) 5 days ago, today she was watered with 16 litres of plain water followed by 8 litres containing 15ml 'Alg A mix' and 15ml 'Bio Bizz Bloom' - this little bit of organic stimulator plus the sugar rich organic 'Bloom' should give her a little final nutrient boost before harvest and allow her to exploit the last bit of goodness within the soil and fan leaves. She is very close to where I want her to be for harvest, trichs are 50% cloudy towards the top where a few amber are also evident (but she's pretty much 50/50 cloudy clear right now). The trichs are a little less ripe lower down (maybe 30/70 -cloudy/clear) - pic 5 is a lower bud. I am intending on letting her 20 litre pot dry out from this watering and give her 48 hours of darkness before harvest. Probably putting her into darkness next Saturday making for day 65 12/12 harvest next Monday (25th).

Nice grow. Too bad you you didn't snag a purple pheno but not a big deal because it's not as potent as the green pheno. Sugarpunch is Grade A smoke for sure and way too potent for a novice smoker. Fire up a fatty with a newb and have fun watching them get the cold sweats and black out... That's the hard truth of the stuff.

It's one of my favorites.

Ha ha, yeah the low branch testers I had were hinting at super strength (they were nowhere near ready - blew me away, even the trim). I can't wait to try the Sativa dominant pheno. I do love my super strength tasty sat dom weed. The one I've named Stinky Girl reminds me of my favourite Super Lemon haze phenotype, but without the lemon/citrus (instead having a cheesy/skunk and caramel sweetness). Maybe an influence from the SSH. I will let her go to 10 weeks. The girl I just posted pics of (Stinky's Sister) is a 'The One' pheno for sure, I have smelt her aromas in the green 'Killing Fields' (berry/grape sweet hash) - I hope the effect matches the green killing fields as I loved the trippiness of that which lasts for hours.

Awesome grow man, looking good. Great job on the restraint in picking and letting them finish proper. Something I lack a lot of time.

Thanks dude. I know these have the potential to be 20% plus thc plants, all three phenos. Lab tests have been done with results I've seen up to 23%. The conditions have been perfect for strength in my opinion - including low humidity throughout the later weeks. That's why I'm being super strict on harvest. Will certainly be funny shocking friends with super strength - one bowl body trip shit! lol

The exciting thought is that this grow will be continuing for at least another 12 weeks; 2 more very bushy Sugar Punch girls, that have been trained using lst for the last 12 weeks from seed, will be flowered under a new 600W HPS. First will be put into flower in about a week, the other in about 2 weeks. I will continue to update this thread with pictures of them as they advance (plus the Kolossus who will be joining them in flower at some point). I must admit I am hoping for a purple/pink pheno from the final 2 Sugar Punch - but still think the tall flowering girl may show some pink near the end. Would not be disappointed with any of the phenos I've already flowered again, but interesting to get the chance to see if a 5 pack of fems can bring 5 phenos of equal quality. :-)

This is the big bushy Sugar Punch girl that I've been training in veg. 12.5 weeks of veg under CFL's. She has been healthy and vigorous throughout. Providing she remains healthy, she will yield an absolute ton of top quality bud when I flower her in about 2 weeks.

DSCN0450.jpgDSCN0451.jpgDSCN0452.jpgDSCN0448.jpg

She is 4ft wide at the widest (not quite all the way round due to the shape and size restrictions of the veg area). Height is 15 inches - I will tie her down again once more before flowering her. I will also aim to train her during the first 3 weeks of flower to control height and obtain as even a canopy as possible.

Ha ha! :-)

I may have exaggerated slightly, but she is 46 inches from furthest leaf tip to furthest leaf tip. Will certainly be over 4ft wide by the time I flower her. I have suspicions she will be the same pheno as Stinky Girl - will be awesome if she is, as that look like proper A++ sweet skunk haze.

Here's the second of the veggging Sugar Punch girls - 12.5 weeks veg lst'd. This is the one that experienced leaf problems. I now believe they were down to toxicity from the high dose 'Bio-bizz Grow' and 'Bloom Cal/Mag'; along with a regular dose of 'Alg A Mix' and the 'ph down' I feel there was just too much ppm in the feed for her. After flushing with 30 litres of water and leaving the pot to totally dry for 5 days I fed her with half dose 'Grow' (1ml per litre) and 0.5ml per litre of 'Cal/Mag' and 0.5ml per litre of 'Alg A Mix' (10 litres of water/feed total) - all the new growth is problem free.

DSCN0461.jpgDSCN0462.jpgDSCN0464.jpgDSCN0471.jpg

I feel she may be a different pheno to any of the three Sugar Punch I currently have flowering. If anything she may be the same pheno as Tall Hazey Lady - but I hope she may also be the purple/pink pheno proper. I will be feeding her tomorrow with the same feed as previously. Then will put her in the flower tent on Friday. I will add a blue 125W CFL which I can hang right down to within inches of her canopy, she will also be raised up on a platform as the HID HPS light is currently at its highest. My intention is to add stakes and tie her down as she stretches, hopefully keep her manageable if she is is sat dom.

I've grown 3 mad shack's before. The first was the best. She was ran alongside some Killing Fields. She was kinda similar looking to the Stinky Girl in this grow. Huge central cola with foxtails. Strong coffee/hash smell and taste. Was more popular amongst those who tried her than all Killing Fields phenos. The Killing Fields had the looks - the Mad Shack had the taste and smell. She was an 11 week flower but felt like an Indica with trippiness rather than a Sativa.

The other two were grown at the same time alongside some Kolossus. One as an 8 week flower low smell weak taste but nice Indica stone. The other was a super sensitive mutant freak with Cal/Mag issues and low height but bushy structure - yet she took 12 weeks to flower. She lost almost all her leaves at week 8 then just kept going and going. Was super strong trippy weed, not as tasty as the first I ever grew, but it was the same flavour.

Extrema sounds great. Would love to get some ChemD from a Sannie selection. Bit too Indica for my liking though - might try her for Xmas though.
