you think so? i already wait about 3 days between watering and they seemed pretty dry today before i watered...should my water meter thingy be pointing all the way to "dry" before i water? like today i think it was still technically in the "moist" range...try to let your medium dry out a bit more often between waterings, it looks like roots arent getting enuff oxygen ,
looking good sarah...mine and yours are about the same size....hahaha u guys are funny! every time he does a deal with me he talks to me on the phone longer and longer...lol im slowly starting to get to know him...such a cutie...but anyway...back to your regularly scheduled program...sarah's grow! lol i have some new pics...the one pic of the little sprout is the rebel that was stretching...the little dude got yelled at...and it stopped stretching...and now its drooping...and i feel bad...lol but anyway...here they are!

actually i think yours are bigger...mine are really short still...and the nodes are still really close...my light is still at least 7 or 8 inches above the plants...and i dont wanna raise it cuz then they would start to stretch...but im worried that they're not growing in height enough...but they do seem ok in every other way...u dont think they might be root bound do u? or am i doing ok and just worrying needlessly?looking good sarah...mine and yours are about the same size....
I doubt they are old enough to be root bound...have you given them any nutes yet? I gave mine a real weak dose at 2 weeks...like 450 ppm....actually i think yours are bigger...mine are really short still...and the nodes are still really close...my light is still at least 7 or 8 inches above the plants...and i dont wanna raise it cuz then they would start to stretch...but im worried that they're not growing in height enough...but they do seem ok in every other way...u dont think they might be root bound do u? or am i doing ok and just worrying needlessly?
nope...i havent started nutes yet...not til monday...so maybe thats it?I doubt they are old enough to be root bound...have you given them any nutes yet? I gave mine a real weak dose at 2 weeks...like 450 ppm....
they're just under 3 litres...but the soil doesnt completely fill the pots...im actually wondering if i should add more soil...i have a little bit more...what size pots u got them in atm sarah? i thought u were doing same pots from seeds for no transplant
could be...I go by size and not how old they are...when they get several sets of leaves and they look good and healthy...then I start nutes, but real weak.nope...i havent started nutes yet...not til monday...so maybe thats it?
i totally would but in all honesty i dont have the extra cash for it right now...is ocean forest organic? cuz the soil i have now is all organic...im trying to keep it as organic as possible...but i decided to go with the tiger bloom because people have had really good results...and while its not wholly organic it is supposed to be organic based...so we'll see...i guess i'll just wait it out...they are growing...just not very quickly...but i can be pretty patient and they look good otherwise...the leaves are looking so wicked! lolMaybe it's that soil...Pop em in some fox farms ocean forest and they'll really take off...
yea...well i decided to wait it out cuz i didnt wanna muck anything up since i dont have the first hand experience...so i gave them 3 weeks in soil without added nutes...im gonna be doing tiger bloom and molasses...so im hoping that works out well...anyone know if i can put the nutes and molasses together or if i should keep it separate...like...alternate feeding with nutes and molasses every other feeding?could be...I go by size and not how old they are...when they get several sets of leaves and they look good and healthy...then I start nutes, but real weak.
you can mix the two together...I would consider giving them some grow nutes before you start the tiger bloom...that will help them build some size first...yea...well i decided to wait it out cuz i didnt wanna muck anything up since i dont have the first hand experience...so i gave them 3 weeks in soil without added nutes...im gonna be doing tiger bloom and molasses...so im hoping that works out well...anyone know if i can put the nutes and molasses together or if i should keep it separate...like...alternate feeding with nutes and molasses every other feeding?
