thanks for the suggestion! the wire hanging from the bulb is always getting in the way...so im gonna try and make some changes for the next grow. i actually havent had any issues with the ballast where it is...so i think its ok without being enclosed...and besides...im only gonna have it for another 1 or 2 grows...im gonna get myself a 1000w digital switchable from the headshop i deal with...its gonna rock

you said that ballast was like 80 bucks shipped ? that is definatly the way to go so you are not paying for the shiny box
i cant wait till you get some nugs ! instead of ditching the 400 you could just get another and some conversion bulbs ! well keep it safe no mist near the ballast or bulb that sucker can kill you, but prob just zap you a bit haha i got hit with a thousand watter in the arm and i still have a scar

urg...dont even talk to me about him!! boys are so confusing...like...sometimes i think hes interested and then other times...he just doesnt seem to like me at all...grrr hes driving me nuts...lol so im just gonna give it some time

i found that with the 12/12 from seed the sativa dominant strains put out more buds...and that lollipopping the plants worked pretty well too...because the lower buds dont really get that big at all...so i chopped them all off and the main buds have gotten really big since...it worked out fairly well. im not expecting much of a yield at all actually...but thats more or less cuz i cant leave them alone...im always snipping buds to vape...lol. but i cant wait for the next grow...im thinking about re-vegging a few of the ones that i ended up really liking and then i have a couple bagseeds that i wanna grow and see what comes from them...cuz the sack i got them in was actually some pretty decent weed...it was definitely harvested early and they have a bunch of seeded buds...but for the most part it was good stuff so im hoping the couple seeds i have are ladies

whenever this one finishes...they're gonna be a little while still cuz theres only one or two plants that have any amber trichs and they only have a few...so im gonna be a little while with this grow...next grow im gonna veg for 6 weeks or so before flowering to get some bigger yields this time
and im just gonna try to transplant these into bigger pots and re-veg them...i saw a really nice looking re-vegged plant on another thread and it had like 12 budsites on it...it was pretty nice looking...and theres a couple of the plants i really really like...so i wanna reveg them

so...i've decided that after i harvest im going to reveg the 4 taller girls...2 of them had some great potential but i mucked them up by letting them grow into the light and burning the tops...i think that definitely stunted growth so im going to reveg them and transplant them all into 5 gallon containers and get some fresh soil...any tips or advice on this process?

It's a lot of stress to reveg after harvest, it's possible that your ladys will just die or turn into hermies or cripples.
With mostly sativa strains the chances to get positive results are a little bit better...
If it's gonna work out you will harvest less than the first time.
Anyway, nice experiment, try it if you want, I'll keep waching.

thanks! the ones im gonna reveg are all more on the sativa side...i know it will be a lot of stress but i've seen some amazing plants come out this way...and a lot of people who experience hermies are able to just pick the pods off and the plant does ok. and i think i'll end up harvesting more because they're gonna get a lot of veg time...instead of just going right into flower...its gonna be interesting to see how things turn out

Well, at least your plants are looking good.Maybe he's not an aggressive boy.If so, you must take a page from the book of Stoney.Either get a little drunk and pretend you are much drunker, or just pretend you're drinking, and grab him by the back of the head firmly but gently(they like this) and give him a lip lock.Does his attitude towards you change when he and you are around other friends?If so, lose interest.
