I am wondering if or when you take a clone can it be left under window sill or shaded sunny areas.
I have a verandah and throughout the day sun passes over giving shade and sun.So would like to put it outside in a top spot with it,s baggy in a solo cup,Chances?
It will go under T5 at night for 6 hours.:wall:

I personally would just leave them under the t5 lights. 20 or so watts about 2 feet away should work fine to get some root growth going. Are you using Rockwood, rapid starters, going straight to dirt? What rooting hormone are you using?

Weedo, Using cococoir with perlite a mix I have used for my grows and also for cloning and it works a treat.Aloh vira that I have growing is the hormone I dip the stem in. I have a light mix of folia spray that works great.5 mil per litre, for normal feed for clones I do 2 mill per litre.
I have done F5,s for a few grows but with lights going extra six hours will test outside and see If it works.Thought someone would know ,Thanks for your advice Weedo.:)

I have tested putting clones outside in mostly shaded spot, tried it with two clones both put under T5 at night reaching 18 hours in total and worked great so for 12 plus hours a day no need to have T5 lights on at all.
The clones had baggies on and where not in direct sunlight.I sprayed clones and bags twice a day to keep leaves humid. When I asked about doing this in diff places on the net, no-one was able to give me an answer, so anyone else need to now then yes it works.
Temperature throughout the clones first 13 days has been 24 to 28 degrees average. :weed::D:cool:
