oh and btw, forgot to say, but i wanna know what your thoughts are on indica and sativa, so if you like one more than another explain why? what do you think makes your favorite type so good?
Indica is a nice relaxing stone for me. But I do prefer to be able to get up and function. Sativa does get me up and going. In a perfect world I'd have a supply of Sativa strain for daytime and some sort of Indica for bedtime.
Up until the mid to late eighties, there weren't many Indica strains in Australia. In Cedar Bay in the seventies, plants were an average 14 feet tall with the typical slender leaf that sativas are recognized by. Short, fat leaf plants were just unheard of. The majority of our weed came from seed stock or imports from Thailand and SE Asian regions; big, tall Sativas. It wasn't really until skunk became well known that the indicas made an impact.
Funnily enough, over here you rarely hear of anyone talking about strains, or types, unless they are well versed in the intricacies of fine growing and have a good understanding of the differences between species and strains. To the 'heathens'
it's either 'bush' or 'hyge'; that is, outdoor grown low to mid quality weed, or higher quality indoor or hydroponically grown weed.
I find it mildly amusing when someone calls the weed they have 'hyge' or 'hydro', when you can plainly see that it is just a good quality bud like Powerplant, Citral or similar and was probably grown indoors or outdoors in a pot.
Now, having ranted on about all that, I really don't care what I have in desperate times, so long as it isn't 2% or moldy or padded with lead/glass...
