Sativas blow

I'm sorry but that's a ridiculous statement and you clearly don't have much experience with autoflower. People spend an awful lot of time bashed autoflower. Don't like em don't grow em.. :eyesmoke: :peace:
Like I tried to communicate....I admit that I don't have a lot of experience with auto flowers. I grew up with photo period plants and when I had my limited experience with autos, I didn't like them. Maybe it was a fluke back then and now everything is much better. I don't know. All I know is that, in most cases, I can tell an auto flower plant just by looking at it. They seem to often have a unique look. To some people, that is a good look. To me, it looks...weird. So, I guess if they look different..tasted and smelled bad in my limited experience, then why would I keep going back to them to try and prove myself wrong? Do I need to give them another chance? No. I don't. Like I already said and as you suggest, I don't like them and I won't grow them.

Ain’t got the patience for em either. I start getting antsy by week 10, longest I’ve had anything go is 12 or 13 weeks but they were outlier phenos of what were marketed as 8–9week strains which to be fair most of em finished in. That 12 week pisthash was something special though, the monster pebbles was decent but not my cup of tea.

I've been looking for a legit Thai strain for years. They have legalized weed in Thailand so maybe we will start seeing some legit Thai stuff on the market...I hope so. But one problem is that in order for me to believe a Thai strain is legit, I'd have to hear it from someone who is old enough to have been around when real Thai weed was going around. I remember it from when the Vietnam War ended and people were bringing it back on cargo planes. The flavor is very unique and pretty easy to tell if you've been around it. But it seems that anyone can call anything anything these days, so if a young person says they have the legit Thai strains...I'd like to know how they know!

I have some Chocolope that I'm going to run after the Durban Poison I'm currently growing is done...Looking forward to it. Probably will hold off a month or two and start early fall though.

I ran on to some pics from my last Chocolope grow , thought you may be interested in seeing. Like I said , some grow short and stocky , some go tall . These plants are about 2 months old . I vegged for another 6 weeks and flipped to flower.

Definitely nice looking plants!

I'm going to take the next month or so off (just chopped the Durban Poison last night), then come late August or early September this will be my next round.

My next grow I'm doing fem c99xkali mist and strawberry cough scrog. One day, I'll have the experience and patience to do a full-on sativa.

Just broke soil with a katsu harlem shuffle(uptown piff x platinum kush), he said it should be around 13 weeks or so, the cut uptown piff used on the cross is ~16 weeks.

Also have on the way a @Piffcoastfarms audobon purple(audobon gold haze x harlem dreams) harlem dreams is a haze x blue dream as well. The audobon pruple should be another around 13 week or so. That hybrid is pretty much 3/4 haze plus I belive the blue dream has some sativa in there too.

Either way I want me some good haze and so I'm going to grow it, grew up grtting the piff on special occasions and remember the soaring high and smell/taste so that is what I am after this years outdoor should hold me over plenty so I'm not sweating flower times on the next run at all.

Also have some @BobBitchen chaka khan coming, the male(chocolate rain) on that was a chocolate x coco crush plant, I want to hunt for a chocolaty/coffee smelling male out of that and hit it to the piffs. Then search through those. Had supposed chocolate Thai once when I was younger and remember just being blown away by the terps and taste on it.

A bigger room is in the works, I need to start hunting for my perfect weed. And be able to keep it once I find it.

This hybrid Super Skunk I grew last year was tested by a friend last week and he said after 4 drags he got trippy effects. He said it had good hang time with no ceiling. He said it was top shelf and he never seen mid grade with crystals on it like my bud has.

Excuse my newbie grower question, but how did you get such a beautiful compact plant? I just completed a PineappleChunk grow where my 3 untrimmed(fear on my part) plants totally took over the small tent 3x3x6’.
Have you topped and heavily trimmed for that result? Or maybe the characteristics of full sativa?
