save my plants from me!

got 2 white widows about 6 week into flower looking sexy as hell and I cant help myself but I cut a couple big branches off one of em, it still has all its main colas though its mostly lower branching that ive taken.
How do I keep myself from wanting to smoke my plants until there ready? anyone else ever have this problem?

ive cut off 5 branches full of bud now, they were looking nearly done anyways. they were the smallest branches im hoping the energy will just go into the main colas now and what ive done will benefit them as well as get me high
the strain has an 8-10 week flowering time, and the way I florwed them by droping the light cycle 2 hours every week until it was at 12/12 to make them preflower faster I think puts them a little ahead (im counting 6 weeks from the day 12/12 started itd be 8 weeks since I first had preflowers)

hehe, me too, i ran out today actually, and i am thinking if i will be getting some buds right now. you could buy a beer, or a scotch just to get you through the day (but good buds really can't be compared to alcohol).

if you have cut some branches then try to let them dry first and then cure it. :)

I think I should just grow more at once, this 2 plants per harvest just isn't cutting it, my first two plants were dried cured and smoked within 3 weeks lol, and I tried to cure as much of it as I could before it went up in smoke. was pretty good yielded about 6 oz total from 2 plants. was good smoke but was half gone in the first 2 weeks. its just amazing how much more I smokd when it was right infront of me and I didn't have to pay for it or go anywhere

You got a thing or two to learn about self control it seems. If you smoked your 6oz in 2 weeks, you better start growing outside to get a big enough yield, or better yet try to exercise some restraint ;)

Next grow-- add an "Auto" into your room-- they do not take up much space- and you'll have some early smoke to hold you over!!

THIS grow-- put a rubber-band around your wrist (or other convinient extremity!) and SNAP it every time you think of mauling the poor thing-- you BRUTE! ;)

well I didn't have the whole 6 oz just to myself, but it definatly went up in smoke
but yeah yeah, self control, I lack da discipline. at least I got something to smoke tonight :)
I'll just write this off as test smoke lol there is definatly a lot of bud left on em and I haven't even touched the bigger one expet some lollipopin in week 3.

I was thinking I might go with autos zandra that's what my first 2 plants were while these 2 were vegging, but I was thinking maybe id just plant 1 auto every week to have a steady supply, expensive on seeds though

I just go buy an ounce and kept my fingers off the gals until they are 100% ready......any finger poking before she's ready is just not a polite way to treat a lady

Not to mention, you are smoking weed that is not ready, so it is a lose lose when you shortcut.

What are you going to do when it's gone? You've got to be patient. No samples. Not unless it's pruned scrag which is just good for maybe salad with your smoking stash to roll fatties on the cheap. You need to prepare for this, even if it means growing one to smoke from in dire need, along with your others not to touch I guess.

You just need to pretend it's gone already, otherwise, when it's gone, you ain't gonna have shit, when if you delay yourself now and go do other things and try to rely on ibuprofen or whatever the case a bit more than usual, then you can smoke it while the new batch grows or flowers or what have you.

must be your first or second grow i think almost everyone cuts a nug off there first plant but chopping the whole damn thing down is another story ,first thing is the weed is not going to be no where as good as it would have been also its hurting the end result of the plant and yield of your baby girl. you will also have nothing to show or smoke while you wait for the next weeks before your next plant is done. as the einstein said self control my brother and grow enough so that you can have smoke for at lest 8 weeks so you can get another harvest.. patience grasshopper and you will be king of your own smoke habbit and hell you might even get money trees after your self sustenance is taken care of. me and my girl smoke and i usualy grow about 6 at a time and that gives me enough to smoke for us until our next harvest is done also we get a few oz's to sell and make up for a lil expenses and helps with purchasing new seeds or hydro stuff.

Actually-- if you have somewhere to grow some non-feminized autos--- if you get a male, take him to a garage or shed and as soon as one of the females is really blooming well, put her with him to make your own seeds.... ;) Just don't let any of the pollen into your other grow area, or you'll have ALL seeded weed! Still smokable- but not as good....

I definatly didn't cut the whole thing down, I took some nice looking side branches. from the reactions im getting in this thread people seem to think I striped the plants bare! I took maybe 10% of my final yield tops and it was only off one of my plants

but yes this will be my second harvest
