I have no problem that TM immigrated and made it. What makes me scratch my head is the idea that a thug could be an icon. cn

Yeah tony was no role model for me, just bad assery all over the screen. Similar to die hard with John mcclane, sure he's runnin around killin but it's a movie. It's fun. Snorting 70 pounds of yayoo every night that's real.

Coulda been about an hour shorter I think. I own it. Bit I don't do coke anymore so I don't watch it very often anymore. And yeah I've met a lot of people that strive to be a scarface type. Not really a good approach to life. Not saying at all that that's everyone wholikes the movie.

Decent movie, Ill also echo the overated sentiment. I guess those that look up to him often forget about him wanting to fuck his sister, or maybe they dont get that part of the movie.
Marc Emery is more of an icon than a fictionalized screen thug.

as a film major i can vouch that this movie is a classical masterpiece. right up there with his performance in godfathers 1 and 2 as well as his beautiful broadway work as Richard Roma III. why was this movie good, many, many reasons, that have nothing to do with the actual storyline. just to give you an idea of how, and why this movie is a masterpiece.
