Scary Stories

I was reading a slew of stories of people getting caught growing, but I was wondering how exactly did they? If outdoors its easy to get caught but indoors I would think is difficult, especially if you have a clean record and own the house.

showing friends, friends jealous or for some reason they turn enemy against you '' stealing a gf'' . stench of the bud, having traffic in and out. buying gardening equipment to and from the house. high electricity bills

I guess that would do it but don't the cops need a substantial amount of evidence to organize a bust? (Warrant)

the electric company would most likely notifiy the police of a ridiculous surge in electricity consumption. and they watch it . 400w bulbs arent anything to run per month, like 20 bucks here. just make sure your windows are covered unless they are in a closet.

It takes a ridiculous amount of electricity before they will say anything (they are making money off you and electricity consumption without growing can vary a lot per month) Unless your planning to grow 100 plants you should be fine in that respect. I think the most important thing is friends like firebrand said and making sure the smell is in line.

That is a good idea. That's a lot of cash to throw down on a grow op though.

ive spent about 1k on my whole setup. made a few things myself. mainly gardening supplies. get lighting off ebay when private sellers sell stuff
