School for Botany

i was wondering, what do you guys think about going to college for botany??? (plant biology), i would love to work with plants everyday for a living... its so calming and relaxing for me...and i can still choose what to go to college for

Thats my goal, finish highschool and go to college for botany and plant sciences. Growing plants is like therapy for me.

Yea, i say go for it. So many people go to college/university and take shit they dont even care about, and half the time it doesnt even help them get a job. But if i were you, i would major in botany and then minor as an electrical technician...catch my drift? lol

im in the process of getting a bachelors in botany wit a minor in horticulture. theres a lot of knowledge in botany, thru books and various personal practice. it appears ur still in high school, sure u wanna dedicate 20 or more years to growing plants?

Just don't confuse your interest in marijuana with a pure love for all pants.Try taking care of various plants that DON'T get you high and see if your love for botany is still there. I know some people that LOVE caring for their marijuana plants but if it dosen't get them high, they just don't put the same effort forth or seem to be nearly as interested.

nah ive been outta school for awhile now but im going to college in the fall...soon/ and to answer the other questions yes i do enjoy growing plants in general...but i def love growing marijuana more:mrgreen: idc if it gets me high... its the satasfaction of having a living thing depend on you for survival i guess if i had to say why.:peace: :joint:

what kind of jobs can i get with the degrees you are getting?, cuz i dont wanna work for a plant nursury or anything, i wanna work with unknown african plants in a laboratory trying to find the cure for cancer n shit...ya kno

Then your looking towards the medical field, maybe plant virology or an engineer into new medical technologies.
