Schtrudels Second Microgrow. First ScrOG attempt. Northern Lights

4 am update:
>installed new exhaust fan. 120mm 60CFM pc fan
>added 80mm intake fan powered by only 5v power source (so i still keep negative pressure inside)
>built inner core of my DIY filter. I asked on the forum how thick should my carbon core be so it filters the smell but keep atleast 24cfm. The surface of the inner core is 400square cm/64 square inches.
>installed another fan blowing directly on the plant so it cools it as i brought it close to the lights, within 2 inches. Tomorow pictures.

Sideshoots near basefanleaves. It hasn't grown from the top of the cola since yesterday. It's going sideways.

Near the first fan-leaves there is new growth.

Notice there's a fan on the wall and a fan in front on the plant blowing cold air from inside the box on the plant and bulbs so i can keep them close toghether.

Near the fan leaves i can see little leaves forming, I don't think they can be seen in pictures taken with my camera

This is my filter. I've ordered active carbon for it. It measures 400 square cm on the inside and about 2 cm of cm fit around it.

Question: my plant started stopping growing in height(lenght) and started growing side shoots. That normal ?

Nice those are side branches man when they grow just lst them down and toward the other side of the pot just like anything else that pops up. If you do it right you will have colas the whole length of that pot ;-)

Bought some cheapass CFL's ... don't ever do that, they like put out half the lumen they say they do and i'm afraid my f^cking box might catch on fire. Damned cheap chinese products.

Hahhaha i use GE 26 watt the 6500k is rated 1600lum and the 2700k is rated 1750lum right not im using 4 6500k that have vegged out more then a dozen plants hahahah they are more then $5 a pop but almost a year later they are still bright as shit and banging out plants. Also i have noticed they stay cooler then most cfls the cheap ones get hot as shit.

I've installed a mesh over my flower and lst'd some branches and leaves .
2-3 days ago i topped it and it seems to be doing right.
A lot of side branching.. a bit too much for my taste.

This is the DIY filter i made. It's a piece of fabric with active carbon inside, it fits over the fan in a thing made from cartboard and it should filter the smell.. but it restricts so much of the air flow

... think im goint go get some lady-panties and use that as a bag for the filter

One thing I will say is, I don't think your going to get 1gpw, prove me wrong though you know

but I don't think it will happen this time round.
I barely got .3gpw off of 2 of them tonking 125w (2700k) CFL's though I could have vegged and flowered for a week longer but hey, would have only knocked it up to .5-.6gpw.

Check out my grow if you have a chance, I think it's a good example of a micro set up lol...if you like micro that is

sup all. IMO g/p/w has alot to do with not only watts but the space of the cab. the smaller the cab the greater the g.p.w number
