Scoob, a few questions.

1. I hear a lot of growers are buying property in South America/Costa Rica. Why?
2. Is legal to grow down there?
3. With the production your setting up to produce is there a market for A grade dank down there?

Sorry, have not read the whole thing, but I am curious about your ambient humidity down there. What is it?
i live on the coast, humidity is 70-95% year round depending on the season; time of day; etc...

Scoob, a few questions.

Costa Rica is actually Central America. Guys starting buying down here in the 80's cause of the banking system. Same as Panama. Nowadays mostly they buy property in Costa Rica to launder money. No one asks questions where the money comes from down here. i didn't come here to grow weed though. i am a high-end residential developer.

2. Is legal to grow down there?
Not yet, but it's on the ballot and will be very soon. Possession of less than 1 ounce is decriminalized.

3. With the production your setting up to produce is there a market for A grade dank down there?
The market here is probably stronger than anywhere in the U.S. besides NY. $350-$400 for a single ounce of dank. Everything i grow get's sold to 4 people and i keep a big chunk for myself. 3 other guys in real estate who sell to their employees, neighbors, and friends and another guy who i've known for 10 years and who has worked for me for 6 years. he sells a 1-2 ounces a week in 8th's and quarters.

Can't wait to see them. I thought of you when I was drinking Costa Rican rum last night. How'd the tournament go?

it was the 2nd tournament in a series of 3 called the Los Suenos Triple Crown. We finished 10th in the tournament and are in 9th place for the Triple Crown. 1-2 Marlin can make all the difference in the world. Sailfish are 100 points and Marlin are 1000 points. Need a little luck in the last tourney to get into the money.

This is at a small farm that i own so it's run off city water (135ppm). We collect it in a 500 gallon holding tank and then run it through a pressure booster system because it runs the sprinkler system and the Sediment, Chlorine Pre-Filter and R/O system inside the grow. Everything is run using PVC and CPVC.

Up at my house we are on well water. I have a pressure booster system, uv filter, sediment & chlorine filter, water softener, and a line for an R/O filter that feeds a tap by the sink and the ice maker on the fridge and under the counter. Everything we run at my house is PEX with brass compression fittings. I have 3 cold and 3 hot 1" home run lines just for the master shower.

little update.

exterior view. new roof added this week.

workstation and commercial sink. the plastic is covering the conduit for the 150amp load center.
IMG_00000238.jpg

veg room with cloning table. tube in the ground in drainage for the a/c.
IMG_00000240.jpg

flower room with tube for drainage of the a/c.
IMG_00000241.jpg

still have to put a little roof over the doorway. install a insulated metal door and 2 interior insulated wood doors for the flower and veg rooms. once the exterior door is installed on tuesday we are going to put three 70 pint dehumidifiers in there for a week and cure the concrete. then spray the entire interior and exterior of the building with DryLoc Extreme using an HVLP sprayer. After that we get started on the electrical.

Not far off from what I was thinking. Lots of filters and pumps just for some nice clean water. Glad to see the new roofs on and your only a few more weeks away from getting it started. Have you started any mothers?
