Niether. They cannot really be compared accurately. For instance one strain may produce a killer yield in a SCROG but be a waste of time in a SOG, however an alternative strain might perform wonders when SOG'ed but underperform when SCROGed. You will find people who will argue polar opposites, neither are necessarily wrong, they could both get great results from one and not the other.

Can you put some strains and Wright it down witch is the best method to that tip of strain.thanks

I like LST because I can untie and tie at any point and move pots around easier. Now to say best would not be fair, What works for one set up may not work as well for another.
If you want to see some bushes from LST look at my sig.

My apologies, however the principal is the same with all forms of training. The effectiveness varies from strain to strain and also the growers setup. And he said scog not srog hehe, damned made up words are befuddling our brains.

And no, i cannot give you a list of which strains prefer which method of training if any training. Just grow and see what happens. That way you get to learn first hand :)

I having problems with LST because the main stem is to strong and right now he pull all my wire up and now I don't now how do at this. And I was thinking about the scrog method.

Use stronger wire or tie stronger knots. A cannabis plants stem is not going to be strong enough that it cannot be kept tied down.

I used LST on my plants and was going to use a scrog as well, I like them both together, but changing solution would be too hard. LST to me is one of the most best growing methods. Supercropping works well if you have the space. I don't really like topping my plants, not since I learned about LST. I use bread ties to tie them down. The pic of the stem is when in veg. while the other pics are during flower.

I don't top my plants because it seems like my main strain really messed with the yield, I may try it on my secondary strain but topping really gave me smaller colas, not multiple main colas. Just an example or strains making the difference, because I know some people that greatly increase their yield by topping.

I've recently gotten into LST and have been doing it to my new mother plant, plan on making her a massive bush. Never tried SCROG though, seems like a lot of work to me, I'm pretty lazy. It's pretty interesting when you first start getting into LST because you're thinking that you could hurt your plant but in reality they are MUCH stronger than we think. I've probably got my plant tied down in about 8 places at the moment and got some new branches coming up that'll need it soon. My battle is whether to top the main stem or just leave it alone. Space is not an issue but I know that topping will increase the number of cuttings in the long run.

I prefer many plants over a few.. So I would rather have them grow natually side by side intermingling, than short bushes I gotta spread out

what do you mean with too hard? thanks
It would only be hard because Im doing DWC, only have 5 ft. of height and how my buckets sit in the floor of my attic. If I had a screen over my plants, I couldn't lift up the plants to change out my nutes. I thought about making a screen that can be lifted up on hinges or something like that but it would still be a pain with the plants growing through the screen. I guess it can be done in my situation but I'll just stick to just LST. Keeps my plants low if I keep tying them down and maximizes my yield, won't ever grow a plant without LST again.
