Scrog and cola sites issue

I waited a week to long to put up my Scrog net. I Have low stressed all the branches including the sucker branches. I have placed as many bud sites out all the squares as much as I can but there are still a ton more Sites underneath the net. This is the first time I have tried a scrog net to help with my cola placements. Usually I tie them down. What I’m wondering is will the Cola sites that are underneath still grow out one of the nets or will they die. They have been stretched straight and bud sites are everywhere. I am aiming for a pound out of my closet harvest with two plants. Do I need to place another scrogg above the net I have placed or do I flip over and let it grow placing another scrog 12 inches higher than where I am at. Thanks farmers. I have pics as well

It’s pruned and tied. I’m using 1500 watt led with cfl substitutes. I’m thinking about cloning the under branches for outdoor spring harvest. So far so good with the net. I’m thinking about netting six inches higher. At the rate they are growing on the bencAt the rate they are growing on the veg. I’m probably gonna need another net for flowers above it

Take your clones now. All the wispy ass lower branches. You will not miss them later.

I’m cutting them for clones. I just need to know if I should add a second net above. I’m kicking flower in a week and these stativas are Afghan kush

What are the effects if you don't defoliate?
If u don’t defoliate mid flower all the nutrients slam lower fans and sucker branches. If you remove them, all the nutrients will go to the Cola sites and make your buds much wider and thicker. in the long term It means more The reason for you To remove them so all the nutrients will go to the Cola sites and make your buds much wider and thicker which in the long term means more tricomes for ur colas. I defoliate right before flower and laid a scrogg net. But the sites are growing so fast and spread apart it looks like a jungle in my closet and I’m needing another net 10 or 15 inches higher to see rate the colas twice.

more nodes the don't get light and should be pruned off.

I tend not to defoliate so there are some lower bud sites. I call this "fluff" and sell it for $6 a gram... My thinking is I only have 6 foot tents and the plant won't grow as tall.

I would definitely add the second net! If I’m not misunderstanding anything. You haven’t flipped yet so they should stretch right up into that 2cd net. For a sog with 3 week veg I use two nets in flower. If I’m doing fewer but bigger plants 5 + weeks veg I use 3 nets. I learned that the hard way. I Space them 12” apart from the first net up. It sucks to add it in after the fact major pita!

Thanks man that’s what I was thinking. I’m thinking of doing 4x4 squares instead of 2 x 2 with the second net. Then I’m gonna nail the closet and line them apart with net and place the light all the way up to the ceiling. My ceiling is 12 ft high so with two plants , two nets and 1500 watts, I should get more than a pound if I’m correct. Here’s what they look like now above the first net. image.jpg

Holy shit I can’t even see the first net! I’d kill for 12’ ceilings lol!! When you say 4x4 squares you mean the holes in the netting? 4”x4”??Regardless I would say your going to need two more layers judging by how they look now The net I use has either 5”x5” or 6”x6” squares and its 5 feet wide So it works perfectly over a 4 foot wide table or what I use are two 2’ x 8’ tables side-by-side. Looking good!

I’m gonna need two nets for sure. They grew so fast in a week I had to high stress train them to even my canopy. But where I pinched it starting to have a brown color. Outside it usually turns somewhat purple come back to green indoors and a little and knowledgeable. Is it normal for the stem to turn brown where you’ve bend the branch over

Yes it can be. There is some tissue damage that results when kinking stems. You def will see some brown as the callous or knob develops where the kink is. How bout a pic?

Thanks, I was getting worried there for a min. I’m on lights off hours at the moment. I’ll take pics Tom and send some on here as a reply.

I think this is huge for two plants. There’s so many bud sites I’m hoping for a little more than a pound. With a 2500 watt or led I’d hope so.
