scrog box 1.0

so out of sheer boredom i decided to start a 2nd grow... with my medical grow going well in the room that its in, i thought taking on a second grow would be beneficial to gaining more growing knowledge in a shorter period of time. So with that in mind I began looking around the house/garage for a suitable donor cabinet, and happened across an old portable closet in need of some repairs, taking this closet out of storage i fitted a new back onto it, interior trim pieces to seal the door i also made. A few latches and hinges later and i had created the basis for my project. From there i lined the inside of the would be growing chamber with mylar and then proceeded to install the frame work for the eventual scrog. After completing that i mounted the light to the top of the box and cut my intake and exhaust holes. Mounting flanges on both of the holes i had cut i then installed my ducting and fans. Deciding that the bottom of the box was to far down to start the plant i then took a sheet of wood and cut it to fit ontop of the scrog frame and cut a hole in the center for the pot to sit, this is how it stands as of now, gettting some LST in before dropping it down to the bottom to stretch for the screen.

Looks really good, im still debating on making a cabinet but i dont have the space for it inside the house, plus i would like more yield than just from a small cab. I currently have it in the spare bath 6 plants, works great for water change, already has the exhaust fan and a/c...cant go wrong.

How many plants are you puttin in ther?

planning for 1 plant in 5gal pot

Looks good. With one plant, in 5 gallon bucket, you should be able to veg for a while, and create many bud sites. Looking forward to seeing your results!

v. nice; tidy. what size lamp is that? How are you growing? have you got any fans for circulation inside the box? I want to put together something a bit wider than that, with four plants in DWC flowering upstairs and cuttings and a momma in soil vegging downstairs. Now I've seen this i think I'm trying to cramp too much in. How did you decide on one plant for the space? Are you already a LST master? big ups!
