Scrog equal potent nugs??

When a plant is left alone without any training methods, the nugs at the top are most potent because they recieve the most light correct? Does any other factor contribute to them being more potent then the others? So in a scrog grow if done correctly all nugs should be of equal potency?

Wrong - as long as the lower buds get enough light to finish they will be just as good.

i overstand where ure coming from tho ur tryna get all nugs on the plant to be at peak like your tops,,,,scrog would be a good method of that,,,,,,i have an outdoor plant thats huge and i started most the begeining of its life on its side(LST),,,then i let half it up removing the spikes and i topped it,,,after awile i let the whole plant up and i have a tree trunk of a main stalk that branches off alot of other main stems i was experimenting and it came out wonderfully,,,

man the net must really be down there huh? once each bud has its own hole its all just letting it grow vertical from there right? nice looking buds double. care to tell us more about your grow setup?

where was the screen? You need a screen for a scrog.

A scrog is not supposed to look like that. The screen is supposed to hold the branches under it so just the colas come through. If you simply just let the branches go through completely untrained then yeah it will look like that and totally defeats the purpose of a scrog.

The screen only allows the budds to stay low and spawn more. The light is used more eficiently this way because instead of bigger branches blocking the light form the smaller ones, it allows the plant to form a canopy. Given each bud the same amount of light. If one bud ever becomes taller than the next, you can always pull it back down and give the small one more light.

Check out these images and see if you like one that suites you. That dude up above didn't have a proper scrog.

You Aeviaanah. I put a link to google but it didn't work. Just goole image "Scrog" and You'll see some pretty sic setups.

what are you talking about? that is totally scrog. i trained each of those buds to live where i wanted them to. i trained them so that the bud sites under them receive more light then they would have untrained. did you even look at the pictures?

Sorry. I Thought those were your pics on top of this page. They were doubles. My mistake. I was saying don't use those as an example.
