Scrog going in tonight. Any advice?

Hows it going today everyone. I built my scrog last night and I’m flipping my six clones tonight to flower. I’m adding two different lights and installing the scrog. And last minute advice before I make this their home permanently for the next month and a half two months?

i just did my first scrog and it's still running in flower atm but only advice i can give you is 1. make sure the net/frame is secure as stated they WILL push it up ( mine is just a hook on system bought on amazon but i had to brace it with some garden ties or they would constantly be pushing it up ) 2. get it to a height where you are comfortable watering all your plants in the scrog. i had to do mine last minute cause my dad forced me to run 3 of his regular plants with my female and his plants were twice as tall as mine but it was hard for me to even water some of the plants at a lower height. they all became males though so luckily i ended up with only 1 left and it's easier plus the positioning was awkward because i had a feeling all 3 were males so i kept my fem under the light and the 3 around it towards the edge of the tent.

3. idk if i would recommend this as it's a meh issue imo but i would probably suggest tying the branches down to the screen. why? just makes it easier to move/bend them as they grow. for me it wasn't a huge issue with only 1 plant but with 4 of um it was didn't know where the hell to bend and when i did some of the ones i did bend undid themselves because they were too short to catch the next hole.

4. from what i've read/been told when asked it's better to use a net with smaller holes more nodes if i am correct since you want to try and put 1 in each hole. idk if it's harder to bend with larger holes mine i believe is 3.5" i think people suggested 3" but the net i bought came with hooks and is flexible

overall i think the most i had a hard time with is the lack of space for watering/pruning with 4 plants at a low height. everything else was kind of just a learning experience but doable.

First of all your a good dude for doing shit for the old man Hope my son does shit like that for me one day lol. I am anchoring this scrog to the four corners of the tent with bungees. Old school Alberta tool of the trade. I will have a second layer to the scrog at about 12-14” higher then that one. I’m worried these Sativa bitches are gonna wanna stretch When I built the bottom I added some connectors facing upward so I could add an additional layer if needed and I know I’m gonna need it I waited to long to flip em.
And anyone looking for awesome LST ties downs found this at the dollar store for 2.50 for 16.4 ft. First picture.

Second if you zoom in you will see the adapter facing upward for additional layers. And the legs on the scrog can be changed out easily to change the height of the first layer

naw he forced me to grow um for him said im "wasting electricity" only growing 1 plant he really doesn't support me growing despite he grows. he is weird though he is okay with me growing legally but not smoking XD our license is expiring next month though so might have to stop before he gets pissed. our state will probably be the very last to actually legalize recreationally and my mom was the one with the license but she passed away in march. imma still try and grow though but i think he is just worried about electricity use for the most part which is understandable thus why i wanted to grow outdoors prior but can't due to lack of sunlight at my house.

i never grew sativa's all hybrids but they mostly took indica aspect. i try to grow sativa dom since i live in Hawaii and it's hot/humid here year round but perfect conditions for vegging hell for flowering. i've kind of gotten used to the high temps/RH issues during flowering and vegging though and figured out ways to combat it to get decent yields.

Update:
Ok everything is set up looks nice but I immediately think when looking at it six plants is probably too much for 5X5, once they’ve vegged this big. Guys opinions would be cool as you! Check it out and don’t hold back.

The screen mesh looks larger than I like to work with & the advice of tying/weighting it down is very good. I use s/s 1" heavy wall tubing & 10K psi 90's on my SCROG screen & they can still lift it so I have s/s weights holding it down.

BTW, plants & setup look first rate - good work.

Ya the screen was a quick buy off amazon. I knew I needed to get it all set up for flower and get it done tonight. I think its 5" squares. Maybe next time I look for 3". Thanks for the advice. This is my first try growing ever. Did a lot of reading and planning the rest is from here. Thanks man. And I have four bungee straps holding that scrog down. It ain't going anywhere. And if these plants lift it I definitely want to smoke that hulk shit banana.
