I know Im about to pull it more taught at 12:00 when the lights come back on. Why should I create a border? the material is a tough plastic/vinyl type so its pretty strong as it is. also its secure with zip tiesStretch it tighter and tie it to rails along edges or you will be disappointed.
True but I thought that having to set up the screen when the plants are under there would be a pain in the ass so I just set it up now. -Lowered lights about a foot and pulled netting more tightlooks goood. I would dump the screen and move lights closer for now, then add screen when they are ready to go through it..wasting alot of light having em up so high and having to penetrate the screen.
my 2¢
Can always roll it up on a 2x4 or piece of strapping, then when your ready to use it roll it out, almost like a pool cover. I just think them little seedling will benifit more from having the screen gone and lights about 16-24 in above em again my 2¢True but I thought that having to set up the screen when the plants are under there would be a pain in the ass so I just set it up now. -Lowered lights and pulled netting more taught
Im aware that you can roll it up, but its not necessary to take off the trellis. the reason is that, light is a wavelength and it will fill the spots the the trellis blocks out. you can tell this by the fact theres no shadow of the net over the plants. Can always roll it up on a 2x4 or piece of strapping, then when your ready to use it roll it out, almost like a pool cover. And I appreciate your input. But two 600's will not generate enough to melt the trellis. maybe if I was running 1000's that might but not 600's. at the distance there at (about 12 in. from net)- Which is why theres No Reason To Not.. put up the net now.yes but your still making the wave travel further to get to the plants....i really could care less what ya do bro like i said just my 2¢ i never put my screen on untill later on in the grow...personal preference. maybe it matters maybe it does not...i like to be able to get my lights as close to the plants as i can and not have to worry about melting or burning a screen.
Not to mention those concrete pyramids you see are custom-drilled and weigh at about 90-100 lbs so the trellis isn't going anywhere .. which is why rails on the sides isn't necessaryStretch it tighter and tie it to rails along edges or you will be disappointed.
Lol. If you can throw down weight it won't. Been there. My trellis pulled over 5 gal buckets of cement with harvest weight sagging the trellis like a bowl. Not to mention those concrete pyramids you see are custom-drilled and weigh at about 90-100 lbs so the trellis isn't going anywhere .. which is why rails on the sides isn't necessary
That's because the 5-gal buckets are taller, with a higher center of gravity, and a smaller radius base. The pyramids take up more area, thus making it a more stable platform ^^Lol. Apparently theres something funny about my comment.. Heres an idea: do a bing search and look up light is a wavelengthLOL....ok

-You know light is a wavelength, Im impressed unfortunately 'non sequitur' doesn't make sense as sequitur is not a word .LOL....ok
