Scrog Screen building materials

Ok so I want to make a scrog screen for a vertical grow, but I need to have it to where each plant has its own screen connected to the pot so that I can remove them when I need to. I've come to a problem when I think about how to construct one, because it would need support to hold the weight of the buds, but I don't know what to use that can bend and keep its form. I was thinking of using pvc pipe, but I wanted to know what yall thought about its ability to support a plant.

Thank yall

I wish this had some replies I have similar questions

Are you using a tent? If so I would take a cargo net (like that comes stock in a mini van or make one out of string with some patience) and put loops on all four corners to run the tent frame work through so you could run the whole thing up and down
But I suppose that would only work for a single plant

I'm just sticking with a spiral grow using loosely tied pipe cleaners taped to the side of my bucket (low stress train) that way I just add more as the plant grows but never have to adjust one that's been installed

pvc pipes or wood for the frame
suspended from the ceiling by link chains
eye hooks around the top of the frame
chicken wire or some kind of mesh tied through the hooks

how many plants and what size area you working with?

don't use string as it can accumulate moisture and mold and also leaves fibers in the bud. try something like clothes-line for the net, that's what i did.

something that bends and holds it's shape is a metal clothes hanger.

best one ive seen on here so far in pics was to just use that simple welded wire fence from lowes, wrapped around the vegged up plants in round pots, and connected with sip ties. Nice round self reinforcing shape.... check out mrmeangreens epic vert grow setup hes building...

Im using PVC framing w/ string woven into approx. 3" grids....

I will be switching to the fencing as my scrog screen, as well as for my vert screens when i make that swap this winter.

it is really simple

98 cent 8ft pine fur stip from homedepot
brass 90 degree mounting plates.....4 of them
mason line
some finishing nails
silver reflective tape
tape measure

u make the square out of the pine fur stirp..............use the plates on the inside to hold it together ..........take the tape measure and mark out every 2/ 3 inches on the wood..........put a finishing nail on that mark (not all the way in ) then u wrap the masonline doing one section first.......hammer down the nails so the line is tight (tape over ) now do the other side when u come to the line loop it then next one and finish it up like that and hammer it down tape it up

u now have a made scrog screen .........the holes will open and close with the loops they slide depending on what size u went with your holes are 2x2 inches or 3x3 inches
