SCROG vs Mini SOG

Starting a new grow.

I'm doing a 1 plant SCROG and an 8 plant mini SOG in my 3x2 cabinets. Using DWC with LED and TechnaFlora nutes. Strain is Mazar.

I will be transferring all but one plant into one cabinet tomorrow.

Will post more soon. Just topped them after these pictures.

Any pics of finished buds you've cropped using them? Ive been interested in how they perform vs hps

Heres an update on the current grow. Moved all but one plant to one cab. Left one to SCROG, and topped them all.

I did some serious pruning in the SoG cabinet on 4/20 in preparation of flower.

SoG cab on 4/26 just before they got kicked into flower. They were a little stressed from the heavy trimming and a couple cold nights.

5/5 day 7 of Flower in SoG cabinet. I cannot tell you how much these plants love the Kind LED. Also the SuperPonics 16 continues to impress me. Overall I am incredibly happy with my SuperCloset.

5/5 Scrog cabinet. Had some serious root rot issues with this guy. I think it's because with only one plant in there and all the light hitting the reservoir, it may have caused the res to heat up a few degrees. Ended up chopping a big hunk of the bad roots out, and giving the remaining roots a hydrogen peroxide bath. Was a little extreme, and I didn't think it would make it. But it bounced back like a champ! New roots blew up, and not seeing any more issues. Still vegging, going to trellis it soon, and flower in 2-3 weeks or so.

That's not really a SOG...and only 8 plants in a 3x2? A crowded canopy perhaps, but not a SOG

That SCROG is beast though!

I agree vitamin. The original plan was to do 15 plants in that cabinet, but 7 of my clones just weren't up to snuff, they didn't establish well.
