SCROG - what if you don't?

I don't scrog, but only because I typically have different things going that are at different days of flowering (I have scrogged before) But, if I was growing all the same thing, I'd definitely be considering it.

In my mind, scrog is mostly a tool to control stretch. It still requires a well dialed-in grow to be useful though, and I'm not talking about plant health (yours look really happy and healthy btw!) I mean knowing a plant well, how much it stretches, when to stop scrogging, how much larf to remove, the optimal light intensity/distance, etc.

Nonsense. There is no problem plucking lowers at any time. That said, in the last couple/few weeks-ish it won't matter as much, but removing the larf can create bigger buds further up. It's best to be strategic about it.

You're right at the point where you can still get some benefit from removing larf. Roughly anything under the red line could go. Maybe even more.
