I plan on scrogging my plant which is almost 4 weeks old Silver Haze from Sensi Seeds... I Haven't topped her yet, she's about 20 - 22 Cm my height limit is 80 Cm up to the CFL light bulbs and the pot is a 20 lt. one...

Can you please tell me where i need to set the screen on and how much space do i need to leave for the buds and branches between the screen and the bulbs ?

Thanks.

In my opinion you should lst that girl. You can scrog but would take up more space and it looks like you have little to no space. I would take out that middle shelf and lower your plant to the bottom and place your lights on a chain or nylon rope and hang it about 3-4 inches above her. I would lst her for 2-4 more weeks before switch. I lst'd a plant by drilling holes all around my pot and tieing nylon rope to her and the holes. until all her branches became hard and stiff enough to remove all rope. after i removed i switched. Your plant will double its size by the time you start to see bud growth and then grow around 1/4 more when budding. If you do decide to scrog i would still lower your plant and put the screen maybe no more then 2-4 inches above her, but you will have to be patient because you will need a lot more time to scrog before switch because that plant looks well ready for it. You should have started already. You will have to have a bigger pot as well because expect a lot more root growth to hold up the new growth.

yea as u can see in the photo im goin to transplant her into that green bucket at the bottom and also about the shelf yes its adjustable so i can remove it... Maybe i should transplant her as soon as possible and set the screen on top of her... bet there comes the question that how much space should i leave between the top of the plant and the grid and also the grid with the light... ?

what ever space you can get away with, remember your light when at highest and can no longer raise it, and the plant height. As for scrog, do you plan on scrogging all the way around your grid or just a few colas being held up? If you plan on scrog all the way around you can minimize your tops of your plant but will take a lot longer. I would scrog all grids then switch. By the time you switch you can probably keep your tops only a few inches above the grid. there fore you must just kinda calculate your distances. The light should be 4 inches above the tops, so when in full bloom when the plant has stopped its growth spurts and is focusing on the buds, you can predict just several more inches of growth. depends on the plant. Im doing a cfl grow and in about a month into flower i still need to raise my light maybe an inch every week. so say 5 inches to be safe of moving the light up plus the 4 inches between the light and plant.

The grid i think on your plant can start maybe a few inches above her. So when she pokes her leaves into the grid you can trim all the bottom leaves off and let her focus on new growth inside the grid. You have to make your own measurements because you will see the growth of the plant plus every strain is different. but keep in mind a distance of maybe 10 inches you need when flowering starts. if you see too much growth you can supercrop the high points by pinching the stems side ways with out breaking them in half.

thanks for ur help man, I actually changed my mind to LST it than scrogging it... it'd be more suitable for my space i tried to adjust the lights but then again i faced a bigger problem that i need to add 2 more bulbs on the back of the box so the reflector would also help reflecting their light too...

I transplanted her last night and topped her 3 nights ago so her growth is a bit slow at the moment which is kinda good so it gives me more time to think of the technique that im gonna use and also set up the new lights for her...
as u can see i also had to put something under the pot so its closer to the lights...

Much better idea i think with your setup and plant. lst is better suited. No you can practically lst anytime before flower. Just always better to do it as soon as the 4th node that way its quicker. But just tie down each protruding stem and the main ones to the sides. You can drill holes all around the pot rim and tie string, or you can add push pins to the side of pot and tie to them. Hangers or what ever else.
