whats up high life i see you chopped her down. if you dont dry/cure and smoke then you should definitely make some bho. im going to try after my next harvest to make it for the first time. that cactus food definitely isn't cutting it though if that's all you have been using to feed it. the combination of the bad soil and the fertilizer that is made for succulent plants isn't going to make bud grow. you would be better off just going to the store and buying a 2 or 3 dollar generic fertilizer like 10-15-10. fertilizer nutrients go n-p-k. mj wants n when its in veg and during the mid late flower it wants p. go get yourself a bag of perlite and some cheap ass soil to mix together, get some fertilizer that will do the job, and you will not regret it, you could accomplish all this with like 10 bucks man so it's definitely worth it and you won't believe the difference. congrats on your harvest man bud is bud! but in the event you can afford the fox farm line of nuts you won't regret that at all haha.

why dont you try a 1 plant scrog in that space mate to maximize yield.. this pic isn't mine but ill throw it up for some inspiration

Thx Mr. Merchant :D. Just ordered FF nutrient trio-soil from amazon. Like 47$ should be here next week. Have some better seeds coming in from some really cool person. Should be here next week also. I will definitely take your advice on the soil. What mixture do you think will be good. 1part perlite 2part potting soil, or like 1part perlite 3parts potting soil?

Yea, that would be great :D.. The shitty seeds im using would never grow like that. After 2 weeks they are already that tall :lol: It would be awesome if i could get some plants looking like that. its coming :D I dont plan on stopping so its inevitable i hope :leaf::leaf:

I would love to send some of these seeds to you guys and see what you can do with them.

Lol yea. Chopped the monsters down. No more stem! My grows stem to flower ratio is all wacked out :lol:.. I had to re-think my battle plan today and ended up getting/ordering a bunch of stuff.:leaf::leaf:

Highlife, I've been watching your grow for a while... I like everyone else was shocked to see you chopped her, I was hoping you would let her go longer... I was hoping she was going to fatten up, I think you had too much going on and it hurt your yeild. Any way I hope you keep this thread going with your new grow. If you start a new thread please let us know. +rep for all the effort. stay high

Thx shrxhky, means a lot :D.. Ill keep this thread for my next grow. Should be starting some new ones soon :P In the mean time ill update on the clones. Cutting all MG nutes and just going to use FF..


Definitely will keep growing.

Seeing as I haven't had any smoke in almost a month I can't blame you for choppin' her! :sad:

Also, if you really think that you learned some valuable lessons for your next grow, I can't blame you either. I would probably do the same in your shoes.

I can't wait to get my grow going... Thinking that I'll do a PC case scrog grow. I've seen some decent yields with that. Primarily this guy who grew some Chocolope. Doesn't say how much he got, but it looks decent to me.

Sorry for the slight hijack... More on topic, I found a series of vids last night, of a guy growing some Sweet Tooth. I forget how long he vegged, but he topped and supercropped the shit out of them. Got a really good harvest, and nice strong stems. If you're interested, here's the link. His other vids are worth a gander as well, some good info on water, and such.

My seeds,soil and nutes were whacked out. I will have all the fixed this week.. I'm still sprouting some shitty seeds to put in 24oz bottles.

I just got some potting soil and perlite. Its MG perlite. I was trying to get perlite without nutes but over looked it. Was more worried about getting potting soil without nutes. The MG perlite is .04-.01-.06. Its really low. Would anyone suggest to skip the first couple FF feedings? Also a perlite to soil ratio? Seeing how the perlite has nutes i might have to add less.

FF trio-soil should be here about mid week and some seeds from a friend should be arriving soon. Cant wait to start using the new stuff :D :leaf:

if you do not i would suggest putting a printed calendar by the box so every time you feed them you can just jot it down so you can look back and not have to ask the question of when the last feeding was and what they were fed.

Yah, this thread has its ups and downs.. Mostly downs :lol:. I have a feeling this grow will produce the results i want. Cutting no corners this time.

Good.. I know for myself, I tried to cut corners my first couple of grows and in the end it takes much longer to get what you want then if you had just done it right the first time.

I look forward to reading future updates.
