Sea of Green method

Hey all! Had some questions about the above method. I will be working with the bubbleponics system and some blue cheese :)

So I guess I ALMOST grasp SOG. From what I understand you switch from 24 to 12/12 and switch to flowering nutes. Here are my questions:

Is there any certain point when this needs to be done? certain height?

Will it continue to grow when switched?

After harvesting, are the plants done? or can they be re-harvested again later?

Any other details I missed please advise!

to reharvest takes time, just keep going 12-12 with new seeds or even better clone and you are laughing

i wont say yes cause everyone has own idea but it makes sense to. can depend on strain. and when you switch to 12-12 from veg plants stretch double or treble unless u use enviro.check my pics and you will be surprised

1. You can keep your plant on veg. for as long as you like, but it will keep growing and growing. Usually ppl veg seedling until they see preflowers, then switch to 12/12 and sex them. Or keep the plant in veg. and take a clone and sex that to determine the sex.

2. Yes. It will keep growing (usually twice the size) for another 3-4 weeks. Then it'll stop and work on producing bud.

3. Your plant is done once harvest time. Cannabis plants grow to have sex, then babies (seeds), then die. LOL

4. You are better to grow mother plants, then take clones for them. Especially when growing in a SOG. Cuts out alot of time, germinating, growing and sexing a plant.

Thanks, I want to do the SOG rather than clone starting out. I dont think that clarified my question. I think you are referring to standard growing above, I need to know more about SOG.

By my understanding you grow your seeds, take your time at first to make sure you have good, healthy females. Then you clone mother plants and flower them immediately...cloning females then flowering cuts out a few weeks of seed-veg phase. SOG is dependent on cloning...Hope this helps, im going to be trying it myself when my seedlings are solid.
