Sea of Seeds order and current grow. 7/8 Sour and Auto Blueberry x Auto Sweet Tooth.

The 7/8 Sour is germinating the rest of the way under 100% perlite and the Auto BBxAuto ST is in a 50% peat 50% perlite mix doing better now. I think I messed the Jack up by having fucked up PH and assuming it was lacking something so I added a little nutes and water and fucked it up wayyy worse. I'll post a picture of how the BBxST is doing tomorrow.
Currently under about 290W of LEDs 2x 120W and one 50W.

So what's everyone's opinion on the freebies? I got the Autos cause I tried my first Auto Jack X Auto White Widow and started out well last week but I shit on it figuratively and failed hard... My first order was (below)

I still haven't tried the main things I bought, the First Ladies. But I kinda wanna try the First Ladies and the Northern Lights x Northern Lights and the Northern Lights x AK on my next grow cause those all sound awesome as fuck! Then after that I'll go back to the Autos over the summer depending on how long my current grow takes.

(this is from 4 days ago Auto BBxAuto ST) It's growing and not turning white and dying like my other plant
20130905_100408.jpgI'll post some more pictures of it tomorrow though.

This is all fake, move along nothing to see here... ignore me thanks. :hump:

This is today, I have a feeling the Sour will sprout up tomorrow, maybe cause I dug the perlite around a little bit to make sure it wasn't dead :P

sweet, ive never seen anyone using a blue only light so im interested to see how it goes. Its good that you have the other lights there as well so you get a completely spectrum, blue by itself wouldn't do much but tons of blue mixed with the other spectrums should give good results in theory

Yeah It's blue/white, but I've heard just blue is ok for vegging since CFL 6500k is mostly blue/white light but I'd rather have more Watts and a backup incase it's not enough! I'll keep posting pictures daily, the 7/8 Sour just started to sprout so I'll start posting pictures of that as well.

heya i just went through a first grow on peat, wasnt sure if you were aware when you mentioned pH issues, but I made the mistake of growing in perlite peatmoss and didn't have any dolomite lime or hydrated lime to add into it, by flowering my peatmoss kept dropping to 5.0~5.8 area in between 6.4 feedings. Ofcourse we probably don't share nutes or anything similar on that front but thought I'd let you know about possibly picking some up if you come across any dropping pH issues with the peatmoss. good luck!

I just ordered some! I'm watering with 7-7.5PH water because of that same problem. Luckily my water is naturally about 8 so evening out the PH isn't too bad. My PH meter was acting out though probably cause I forgot to whipe it off last time I used it. So it would say 10... then slooowwwly drop down to 6.5, But thanks I got the natural stuff for changing PH up and down and will be using if from now on, dolomite lime for the soil and calcium carbonate/lemon juice for changing the PH. I also got PH test strips for a more reliable test without having to reuse something and contaminating the PH.

I never realized how important the PH was until this grow since it caused me to kill my other plant.

Day 16 at 2AM She's looking good. I turned off the white lights on the blue/white LED because they are a lot of extra heat. I moved the lights up 2 more inches away so that it doesn't burn the leaves. You can see in the third picture that the fan leaves were getting a little hot so I readjusted some small fans and now it looks all good :)

I have the freebie 7/8 sour seed as well, waiting to put it in some soil. Did that one make it?

Yeah, but it's embarrassing to say the least. (day 9) and looking like it just sprouted yesterday. Not sure if it's something I did or what cause I had it in a peat moss cube and %100 perlite just transferred yesterday to full soil so we'll see how it takes to that, but the roots didn't even reach the perlite so I don't know. It seems healthy besides the sloowww growth.
