i have some seabird guano and would like to know if it is any good or will it harm the babies
and do you dilute the final solution or use it straight? a spray bottle for foliar feeding?Made up a batch of casting tea last yesterday, reciepe/material was:
5 gal pail
4.5 gal water
1/3 cup Molassas
1/3 cup vegtable oil
2 Cups worm castings
Old sock or cheeze cloth
Pack 2 cups worm castings in cheese cloth tie tightly
add molassas and vegtable oil to pail,
Fill bucket with clean water(slightly warm to aid in molassas distribution)
Connect air pump with airator, position on bottom of pain
Turn on and let "breath" for 24 hours, syphon out into spray bottle.
Will last only 24-48 hours, results are incredible...worth the mess
Aquarium pump : $5.95 w/hose, $1.95 airator stone
Bro, thats a little too much guano love, lol. i like using the stuff, but not to the point of a love afair. and to the guy asking about foliar feeding, foliar feeding in un necacerry, and kinda gross with manure tea. Its totally cool to make it rain on em. once and a while, but i wouldnt spray any fertilizer on my leaves. pure water is good enough. plant absorb enough nutrients thru thier roots. god didnt plan plants in a way were they need a human spraying shitty water all over them.hell yeah guano is the shit!!...LOL....I love it...I even like the way it smells now, the stuff from the guano company smells so fruity like a pungent berry....mmmmm guano....
