Sealed room need help with co2 and fresh air

Correct, a mini split doesn't exchange interior air with exterior air. The interior air passes across the fins in the head unit and pushes it back into the room.

What do you believe that filtering your sealed room air thru a carbon filter is going to do to benefit your plants?

I don’t know to be honest been watching YouTube videos on sealed grow rooms and think the channel was weed in a pot . That’s how it showed . But not really sure because I don’t mind the smell of flowers so it’s not like I’m worried about hiding the smell.

Hello, I run a sealed room with Co2. The fan with a filter cycling in the room is only good for circulation and scrubbing the smell, unless you have it hooked up to a HEPA filter in which case it’s also good for cleaning the air of pollen and mildew spores ect..
if it’s a sealed room then yes you will need co2, I run a generator and have it set at around 1000-1500ppm depending on the ambient room temp.. once you get good at balancing all your room parameters then pushing up your vpd will increase yield but it can be like walking a tightrope.. I love it, but it’s a lot more relaxed and easy at your current temps so do whatever makes you comfortable. (And the question about venting the dehumidifier air.. no, don’t have to. Just take into account it’ll raise room temp slightly)
Oh, and I have run RDWC in a high temps room, just added a chiller and had the brain res set up out of the room.

Nice setup!

I run CO2 in my tent at 1200 PPM, my split unit keeps it around 28-29c, and at lights off my extraction kicks in to do a fresh air exchange. I'm running a 68lb cylinder and the needle has barely moved. I am running 56 plants and my CO2 regulator triggers about 4/5 times during the flowering light cycle for a few minutes at a time. I have my flow meter set to 2 this prevents it from getting extremely cold and potentially damaging it.

Ok so I’m going to not worry about the carbon filter and scrubber seeing how people say it won’t do anything for the air. However I’ll still get the co2 setup and check for leaks and lower the pressure see how long it will last. Going to contact places Monday try to find someone who delivers co2 and the cost and maybe get bigger tanks. Idk yet . Thanks for everyone’s help and advice.
