Please everyone avoid InSide Sun, I bought a 400 watter and it worked for exactly 2 weeks, then the ballast took a crap and he never returned emails or calls. So much for that warranty. I then ordered a digital from HTG and it was here in 2 days and have not had a problem.

Hey filipino, I didn't mean to mislead you on that HPS, I'd honestly never even thought about looking up the company.Just wanted to help you get it cheap.But I myself have ordered from htg, and they are legit.:bigjoint:

I guess it is somewhat the luck of the draw when dealing with inexpensive lighting. I know people who have bought the most basic Inside Sun light systems and have had them for years and other than to replace bulbs because they do begin to lose their potency and put off as much light spectrum even though they are still as bright they never had a problem. Then I have known people who have bought some of the highest quality lights from bid dealers and had problems like you and were totally unsatisfied.

It will always be a roll of the dice.

One uncool thing Inside Sun did with one guy I knew is he ordered a reflector with a white surface and was told it was in stock and he received something different. When he said he wanted to send it back for the right one he was told they were out of stock and would be for something like a month or more and that there really wasn’t any difference between the two and the guy should just keep what he got. There was a small difference in price, the white reflector was slightly more but Inside Sun wouldn’t refund the difference but only offered store credit.

So I am not endorsing them. I was just saying that I do know some people who have used them and saved a bunch of bucks and got reliable lighting but then there was the one guy who didn’t get what he wanted and was half talked and half pressured into just keeping what he was sent and then did not receive a refund for the different and only store credit.

To the op, I ordered the 150w HPS from HTG at around 3AM today and by 3PM I had a tracking number. I'm definitely impressed already.

Im using that exact light right now for my hydro grow.. check it out in my grow journal link below .. it works really good
