Hello im a noob and this is my first grow

Im growing the autoflowering strain Auto#1 in a DWC 5 gal bucket.

What i was wondering if i could use Seaweed extract along with some MG plant food for NPK to successfully grow a plant. I have heard seaweed has all the micronutrients the plant needs? I would buy hydro nutes but i dont have the money atm.

Thanks for the help

Seaweed wet is about 0/0/0
dried however is like 1/.5/3

It would be much more beneficial to your plants to use a full N-P-K grow and bloom for plants in my opinion.

It could be used alone or with a MG, not sure about the DWC however....

also you mean miracle grow by MG?

Yes i know miracle gro is a poor choice lol but i cant order anything online right now

And there are zero hydroponic stores around here.

Do you know of any good nutes for dwc at like Walmart or Lowes? Right now it looks like i will have to use seaweed and MG and see how it goes. I will post pictures of the results later

Not too sure for hydro, for soil the alaskan fish emulsion is a good veg nute. also check out blood/bone meal they sell there, this is what I used my first outs grow and i had good results. Pick up SuperThrive to use once or twice during veg, it's incredibly concentrated, be careful with it.

MG can be alright if you know how to NOT over fert/water.
MG is a fairly cheap nut so people tend to over feed with it.
IF you use MG feed at quarter or half strength.

Yes it will work just fine. Start with a good soil mix if it's available and go light on the MG. Kelp is good stuff
