second aussie grow - durban poison + passion#1

howdy all,
I hurt my knee months ago so I'm off work for at least another month so I have given growing a few plants a go. I live on the east coast of Oz south of Sydney.

At the moment I have a few durban poison, passion#1 and another bush strain seedlings going, they seem to be pretty well in my little hot box as it has been pretty overcast lately. I'm using half soil - half mushroom compost with some dynamic lifter and water crystals as a growing medium. I'm thinking of taking cuttings sometime in December if all is going well.

Any tips or feedback is much appreciated as this is only my second grow, but I have been reading up quite a bit lately.

hey, they are looking just like my first plant was about a week ago i am looking to plant some more soon, maybe about 10ish: a range of different seeds. i am also from around Sydney. what time do you start your seeds and what time do they finish by? it looks as if the hours of day/night change to 12/12 in march sometime.

started them a month or so ago, should be done by february i think, not sure though. i was thinking of getting a few clones also in a couple of months. good luck with your grow!

just found out that one of my durban posion plants turned male, i have moved it away from the rest, though i was wondering if anybody knew how far away is a safe distance to put it as i would like to get more seeds for later. cheers.
