Second Grow and About to Buy Lightsand Magnetic or Digital Ballast ?

i got my 6'' fan and carbon filter in today and them filters are huge first time i ever saw one in person . in a few days i should finaly be ordering a light maybe within 10 days have it here and all hooked up i still got to get a hose for it at some point .

i know i have to get a kit with a timer because i sure cant keep track of turning them on and off . growing confidential cheese and i know from first grow they do have a nice little smell to them i didnt get much out of that harvest because of improper lights it got to about 3.5 foot but i had to prop it up to keep it standing and the stalk was thin i didnt get half a ounce out of it . i learned from first and making improvements with second grow and they cost bit more but worth it in long run . can them plants make about half a pound or so if grown the right way ?

the only way I knoe off to get 1/2 is with RDWC.

just ordered 1000 watt lights has mh and hps bulbs included and dig ballast and timer should be here within a week or so . cant wait to get it . i already a single wire ran back there with its own 20 amp breaker sure dont want to cause a fire with ext cords and have fire department and police here that would suck worste than having tiny harvest

when i get my light in do i set the ballast to 50% 75% or 100 % ? i know i'm gonna pop mh bulb in it soon as i get it in but wasnt sure about them settings . it says it automaticly adjust for either bulb so dont have to worry about that .

got me lights today and i be damned if inside the mh bulb isnt broken apart hps bulb is fine all box and bulbs was well packaged and well wrapped . geuss fed ex hit to many bumps or something idk the mh does have fair larger stuff inside of them i noticed .

I got in a rough shipped bulb with the mount on one end of the arc tube broken and the tube at 45 degrees.
The wires were still good so I banged it against some cardboard until the tube was straight and turned it on.
It worked for six months.

I have a GE Ultra Max ballast for CMH, I have to remove a cover and turn a screw to change wattage. And it only runs CMH.
HPS or Retro white will kill it.

So did you get your light set up? Are they replacing the broken bulb?

Make sure the timer you get is rated for more than 20 amps. Keeps the fire dept away.

No, the cheapo $7.99 timers won't cut it with a 1000w rig. Need something like a water heater timer or heavy duty outdoor. I use a Intermatic T101 mechanical time switch rated for 40 amps and built like a tank. Have one for yard light duty that has been in constant use for over 30 years.

timer came with the kit only says 1750 watt 110v-60hz . theres no bar code or nothing on pack so this must be bought in bulk or kinda cheap not sure and has tg-16 think its a 6 cant really tell . i got fan and light to a single 20 amp breaker or do i need light to one breaker and fan to another ? is having light 3 foot off plant enough i just measured ?
