Second grow - Blue Cookies from seed

Last pics before switch, just turned the lights out. Wondering when I can hit them with full power lights, 4 Spider Farmer SF1000’s in the corners and an AGLEX2000 in the center. Currently have QB’s turned down as far as driver will go, think it’s 50%, and only half the AGLEX running.

Just got done with the long dark period while switching to 12/12. Looking pretty good I think. I welcome thoughts or ideas

QB’s turned up, AGLEX at half. All lights raised up to top. Had AGLEX on max but started seeing some tacos.

Beautiful! Nice clean space and very healthy plants. You got the green thumb for sure! :)

I have a blue cookies cut that I ran a test plant of this round and wow am I impressed. Shes at day 50 of 12/12 in this pic:

BlueCookies.jpg

I have her in one of my rooms as an "oddball" plant so she's not under one of my main HPS lights, rather off to the side getting indirect light. She still performed really well making very dense nugs. I think she is definitely a plant that likes a little less intense light levels. I classify plants as ones that like intense light and ones that don't. Indica dominant strains more often than not are of the lower intensity type, not always though. When given intense lighting these strains will exhibit chlorosis on the tops closest to the light while other strains that like more intense lighting can be significantly closer without problems. PPFD wise the numbers jump a lot when you are close to the light and move just a little closer. So the PPFD difference in 3 or 4 inches is big. I am blabbering. lol

Good job, can't wait to see them after stretch, thats gonna be a full tent. :) Keep on keeping on!

I hope my Blue Cookies turn out that good. As stated somewhere in the journal though, I screwed up and mixed up my seeds. It is becoming more apparent now. So now I have some Ice Cream Cake and some Blue Cookies.

Loving the growth I’m seeing. Might end up dropping the one I have raised a bit and raising the one next to it. Guess not all plants stretch the same even of the same strain (I know I have 2 here)

So I have some mutations on one of my plants. Pretty interesting. It’s the bottom left plant. Can’t find anything saying it is bad.

Also was thinking I could fit one more in here if I moved the ventilation to the outside

Things are filling in nicely. I removed a bunch of large fan leaves from the very bottom. They were not getting any light anymore at all, and were dropping so much they were basically touching the dirt, which is way way bad mojo. They wet way old and most were from when I had deficiency anyway. I am extremely happy with where I am at for only my second grow.

Took the first big amounts off the bottoms. Don’t have room for it to grow through or around anyway lol.

Well, I’m seeing pistils on all of them, so I guess no breeding this round. I think it is too late for colloidal silver for a complete pollination this time as well, but I’m going to at least do some smaller lower areas and collect the pollen for next round. Will be starting next rounds seeds day after Christmas. Not sure about the seeds on the left. Probably not viable, but will be exciting if they do pop. Right are Blue Cookies and Ice Cream Cake that I’m currently growing, and strongly believe now they are feminized

Well it definitely needs some trimming. Was trying to wait longer after the bottom trim, more around when the stretch is almost done, but now I’m thinking I’m going to do a thinning tonight or tomorrow, then a last clean up at the end of stretch

I’d say wait and do one bigger one. Will stress plant less imo and give similar if not better results imo
Yeah that’s what I’m still going to do, just getting antsy.

I am a bit concerned about the water intake. I have to water every other day. I’m in 5 gal fabric pots, water with 2ish gal each time slowly till slight run off. The roots should have plenty of room, but I have not grown this strain so do not know what the roots will look like yet, but imagine 5 gal is plenty. Getting thick in there, looking forward to the end of the stretch.

Somebody awesome hooked me up today. Time to start cloning! I don’t have anything in veg so My first attempt at cloning will be a monstercrop. I’m going to be scouting the threads here and elsewhere online. I’d love tips. I’ll start a journal for my cloning.
